The following link is to a web page that shows satelite pictures before and after the tsunami in different areas. You will start with the "before" picture, then to see the "after" you click the button above it.

I'm not sure if this page has been posted already. If it has, it is definitely worth viewing again so that this disaster stays fresh in our minds. Much of this huge catastrophe has already vanished from the news in America except for some smatterings of governmental posturing. We need to be reminded of what has happened and what is currently happening, as it is still very much fresh in the minds of the many victims.

Wow... Some I had seen before, but others were insane! It's really powerful to see how much was just completely gone...

It is amazing the level of devestation... I've had some clients loose a lot family in the area.

Pictures #5, #6, #7, #12, #13, #16, #17, #18, and #20 are amazing. Nice link.

The pictures I had seen up til this thread had dumbed down and under emphasised the destruction. These have really opened my eyes. Especially the ones where entire peninsulas have been wiped out
