Sending a six-pack to Scotland
Hi everyone. I'm planning on sending a six-pack of Cooper's beer (an Australian beer) to someone in Edinburgh, Scotland. The cost/risk/effort of buying a six-pack from the store here and sending it over there is unimaginable.
I'm looking for a way to order this online and have them deliver it to this person's house, does anyone know of a site that does this, and is reliable for credit card purchases? I've searched for ages on Google but there seems to be a couple of sites that send some sort of beer hamper but it's not quite what I want, I want a specific six-pack of this Aussie beer sent to a house in Scotland. If anyone can help me out with a site that'll do this and that I can trust with a credit card purchase I'd be eternally grateful! |

A few more links to try:
http://www.shopsafe.co.uk/wine.htm I don't know about reliability and credit card options though. |
Pretty cool idea...If someone wants to swap a 6-pack from their country with a 6-pack from the US I'm up for it.

Thanks for the help guys. Unfortunately I'm unable to just buy a six-pack here and send it over there as Australia Post doesn't allow it. I've asked around and no matter how well you pack the bottles, Fed-Ex and those methods always manage to break some.
Also the online sites all appear to have a minimum of 24 bottles, averaging more than 50 British pounds, which is twice as much as it costs here, and that doesn't count shipping and handling of a slab of beer. Turns out this would be much more expensive than I anticipated. My only other option is to get a friend of a friend who lives there to buy it themselves and somehow pay them back, but that's a rather half-assed Christmas present so I'll think of something else. Thanks anyway! |
