Where did all the cool science experiments go? What the hell happened? How long has it been like that?

that's where i met my husband...lol..that would be sad if it was gone

Can we have some info as to what this site was? what's the story?

It was an awesome site back in the day.

Yeah, I was looking to show a friend the old science experiments about a week back, and was pretty disappointed.
I ended up using archive.org, but it was so slow, it was pretty much unbearable.

An explanation of the history and evolution of The Spark (internet like burning!) can be found here. Good read!

This site was great until it became a money whore. Atleast they still have some tests, but they don't make new ones anymore. I also loved when the guy tried to set his sister up with guys. Fucking hilarious. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

It's a shame that thespark is... no longer thespark. Wonder why they changed it so massively?

when i first read it i thought it was Thes Park, so when i ended up in thespark.com, it was like wtf??? Now i get it (checking the mirror for blonde hairs...)

It's my understanding we are not allowed to discuss other websites here. I don't want to see anyone get in trouble. (I was warned once already myself)

I think it's just that we shouldn't plug or advertise for websites, I believe we're allowed to discuss them... feel free to correct me mods
