No, I don't remember what those were....excepting that they were problems with Word compatibility.
depends on what you are doing and the complexity. The only thing keeping word XP on my main system (the only MS office component on it) is the deplorable word 6 style table creation and support that hopefully will be fixed by the upcoming OO 2.0 release or soon after.
Firefox is a damn fine backup for me and improving but still falls short on ease of use for me compared to Opera. IE was ripped out entirely a loooong time ago; that virus is confined to the win2k crashbox that has other junk like realplayer and winamp on it strictly for test purposes..

I can't say for sure whether ot not this is true, but I've found probgrams like AdAware and SpyBot, or any othe rof a numbe rof applications, can take care of all that crap quickly and easily anyway. We, as users, must be the deligent ones in this regard, not the developers. There will always be those who write malicious code for that works for any browser.

Also, because the browser iteslf has such strong plug-in architecture, built in spyware and adware scanners that work on the fly as a plug-in can't be far behind.

In fact, are there any yet? Does anyone know.

Still a great browser, and anything that competes against MS anything is GOOD.

Peace,

Pierre

I downloaded it just for the tabbing feature. Never had any other probs with IE, only that sometimes there were just too many freaking windows open.

I'm an Opera man Myself but got my wife finally using Firefox. Her machine has about one popup ad per minute even when IE is closed. I've used Adaware, BPS SPyremover and Spysweeper and still have problems. Ugh!

Hi. My names Suave, and I am an Internet Explorer user.
I'm seriously too lazy to switch browsers. I haven't had any serious problems with IE, except one trojan (which isn't much in 8 years of internet use).
