Turning 21 this weekend
 

I'm turning 21 this weekend... been drinking heavily for about as long as i can remember but as of midnight tomorrow, i can do it legal-style. So, let's have it, what do you think i should drink? I'm a beer or gin man for the most part, but i want to try out some mixed-drink madness. I may even keep a tally of what i consume (presupposing the handwriting isnt the first to go out). So shoot, what would you like to hear about me throwing up next week?

coppertop - that one i may not comply with, i dont handle the dairy very well. maybe if i find a bar with soymilk?

Definitely Jager shots. On my birthday, I did this thing called a Prarie fire. I'm sure there are different names for it, but all I know is it burns like sweet hell on the way down.

If you're feeling classy, drink Martinis. They get you liqoured up in the tastiest of ways!

21st birthday... this is the one time when you are obligated to take some nasty shots... i have had a bunch of people turn 21 recently... we give them 3 wise men (bean, walker and jack all put togeather), sweaty mexican is becoming a newer one (jose and hot sauce), then the be all end all shot, you dont boot after you take it and you are truly a champ, bear fucker (gin, vodka, jose and hot sauce)... by the way i have taken all three, and i did hold down all of them... so have a good time and happy early birthday

Do a German Blitzkrieg. When my drummer turned 18 we made him one. 5 shots of double nazi's. Goldshlager and Jagermeister.

Only on days that end in "y". Seriously though, it's the best tasting shot I've ever had.

Hmm... now that you're legal, most of the 'thrill' will be gone. My suggestion would be to abstain from alcohol from here on out. :lol:

For my 21st, two rounds of the 3 wise/horse man definitely got the party started. The bartender also had his own strawberry/banana mixed drink that was Quite tasty.

Tip: Take a sharpie with you and mark the number of drinks on your arm. Makes a good recounting in the morning when you spend the day shaking off the hangover and wondering "holy hell, how much did I drink last night?"

On your 21st birthday, I will accept nothing less than straight shots of Bacardi 151, it goes down with a bit of a burn, but otherwise alright.

Four of those on an empty stomache and you'll have a hard time finding your nose. Also, beware if you smoke, Bacardi 151 is high enough proof that your breath is more than likely very flammible.

Chocolate Cake: 2 parts Vanilla vodka, 1 part Frangelico, 1 part Creme de Cacao, 1 part Coconut liqueur

Jager Bomb: drop a shot of jager in a beer and chug... I have a buddy that loves it.

The sharpie on the arm is a good idea as well. Another thing you could do is for every drink you have sign your name on a piece of paper to see how your siggy degenerates over the night.

If you're a student and finals are soon. Some friends of mine and I have a tradition. After our last final we drink till we can't say our major... heh.

Uh, someone bought me a Cement Mixer on my 21st Birthday.

Cement Mixer:

Ingredients:
4/5 Bailey's
1/5 Lime Juice poured on top of the Bailey's

Directions:
Pour it into your mouth
"Swish" - much like mouthwash
Chew...
Swallow...

The Lime Juice curdles the Bailey's. It doesn't taste horrible, but the texture leaves something to be desired. I would highly recommend not skipping the "swish" portion - I did once and it began to curdle in my throat...

I don't really have a drink suggestion other than to second the irish carbomb, as long as you use jameson, any other whiskey just won't do. Make sure to do that hour of power also.

My real reason for posting is that I've just spent the last couple of minutes having a good laugh at NoSoup's sig. So true... :D
