Has anyone ever played the numbers on the back of your fortune cookie slip, and won?
I am eating some take out Chinese, and it came with a wrapped fortune cookie.
The advice it offered was: Speak well of people and you need never whisper, which I actually think is a really neat phrase, but I'm curious if anyone ever played the lotto numbers on the back of their fortune and won? |

Funny you bring that up. I just bought a lotto ticket and used the numbers from the fortune cookie I had gotten that day. Never done it before but I figured what the heck, those numbers are as good as any. If I win I'll let you know. Heck, I'll let EVERYONE know. I'll be dancing on the roof and howling at the moon. I'll also eat more Chinese take-out.

I used to eat chinese a lot. I kept (and still do when I occasionally eat chinese food) my fortunes... But I play the lottery literally like 4-5 times a year.. and I always just take random numbers in powerball, etc.
I have always said that if I looked at the back of a fortune and saw a set of numbers that seemed lucky, I'd play them... I never have found a set that I felt compelled to play. |
