We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command or faith a dictum. I am my own God. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us. --Charles Bukowski |

![]() Stories are muich better when typed drunk. Its always funny when I send an email or something when I get home from a night out and whomever I sent it to reviews it with me the next day. If I try real hard I can be coherent, but it's hard.

Im not sure that the story will merit the suspense!!! It really isnt much to tell.
That night I went to the engagement party of this girl I used to work with who I had a big crush on... but a funny thing happened, when I saw her, I just thought that she looked really rough. I dont mean to sound superficial, or hypocritical (because I know I am no one's idea of a good looking guy) - and Im not saying I wouldnt still be interested or I wouldnt date someone who loooked as she does... but it was just like, in my mind she was a really really pretty girl - and it was just like seeing her through a totally different set of eyes, and she just looked normal and ordinary. Anyway, earlier in the night I met a girl I knew from school, and we changed telephone numbers, but nothing much came from it. I guess at the time I posted this I was anticipating that it might!!! On the way home a bunch of kids, 15 or so years old all got in my face, pushing round me and so on trying to intimidate me, but I just told them to piss off and kept on walking. I'll be buggered if I'm going to get pushed around or mugged by a bunch of school kids

I'll fill in. I have a sister-in-law who is the most vile, wretched, disgusting filth to ever fill out the shape of a human being. Part of her charm is that she can't keep her mouth shut.
Last weekend, as we were all walking through a mob scene after a college football game, a drunk guy bumped into the old man in front of her (total stranger). As the drunk turned around to say something to the old man, She-Who-Must-Be-Loathed had to get her big mouth into it. So the drunk turned back around and headed for HER. Only the moving mob kept him from reaching her. As he was brushed away in the opposite direction, he screamed the words that so many of us would pay to be able to say: FUCK YOU, BITCH!!! Ah, you gotta love a good drunk.....
