Vote Early -- It's great!
While we don't have official early voting in California, my county (and I suspect several others) leaves the election office in the county building open and staffed all day Sunday and on Monday into the late evening, so you can cast a "late absentee ballot." But everybody calls it early voting. Anyway, today's Sunday; we had breakfast, went down there and voted. It was great; we filled out a short form, filled out our ballots, handed them in and left.
If your locale has this, I highly recommend it. Avoid the crush on Tuesday. |
The 'early voting' spots in FL are for the most part way overcrowded. I think there was something like a two hour wait at the one near me. I sent in my absentee ballot a long time ago though, so I don't have to worry about it. :)

a search would have shown you at least two other threads on this topic

I'd be glad too....by doing a topic search it would have saved making a new topic on something that already had multiple threads going and you might have had more to say by reading all the comments already made :) searching early + voting would have given you at least these 3 threads http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...t=early+voting http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...t=early+voting http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...t=early+voting |
I voted early in SoFL - 1 1/2 wait. No problems. However, when we left, the line was twice as long. As long as you're in line by closing time, you'll vote (poll workers close it off).
If you don't know who you're voting for by now, are you sure you should be voting? |
