I listen to his show when I'm over in San Jose on business.

I have to admit I quite like it. So yeah, I guess you could call me a fan. You just can't get his stuff in Australia though...

Isn't he moving to digital radio or something?

Is there a reason you're asking this question? Or are you making sure you're not the only moron out there that thinks he's funny still.

John Stewart is the NEW king of all media.

Mr Mephisto
he started a bulletin board and there's links for some of the content uncensored available for download.

John Stewart is the NEW king of all media.
John Stewart can only do what he does because of Howard Stern. Stern revolutionized the way we listen to radio.

Yes, I am a fan. Did ya'll hear the wet T-Shirt contest on this morning? Dayum!

I was forced to listen to him when I was younger and working construction (mid to late 80's). My brother loved it. I found it to be mostly childish and tasteless most of the time.

I'm not a fan, but I do think he's important. Someone needs to be pressing the limits of free speech. It's too bad he's running away to satellite radio... someone needs to give the FCC a hard time.

I listen to the show once in awhile. I love it when they're making fun of each other or celebrities or what-have-you, but when it focuses on strippers and porn starts and stuff I turn it off. Not because I'm offended, but because it's utterly stupid. Maybe the boobies translate well in a visual medium, but on the radio you can only hear, "You have such a great ass" so many times before it gets old.

I agree. I'll listen to it sometimes on the way to work. Once they parade out the women, I'll turn it off. I don't want to hear what Stern and his crew would want to do to the Babe of the Week. No thanks.

I also think he's overplayed. Was he important? Sure. Is he still? Well, he would be, but he's going to Sirius, so what relevancy will he have there? Right now his big thing is fighting the FCC. Once he moves, he won't give a shit.

one of the reasons that I watch the E! show at least you can see the ass when they don't blur it out.

really? I don't see in any american historical documents stating you have a right to kick someone's ass.

Ok, you are forgiven.

I 100% agree with you on that...plus those bastards(can i say that?) at Clear Channel need to stop what they have been doing....alot of the tv and radio in central pa is owned by C.C. and i wont listen or watch stuff they produce.

Mr Mephisto
satellite radio to be exact.

and to answer, not really. I find him mildly humorous on his best days....painfully dull normally. //changes the channel to music at this point

didnt they sign a bill that will now fine the individual for indecency? i heard it on the stern show this morning. that would suck to be fined 500k for using the wrong word, im assuming its broadcasted live? i know nothing about radio but i think the stern show would be a lot more interesting on satellite radio.

Cartman, I agree that he has gotten a little dull. Perhaps it started when Jackie left but maybe before.

It's a funny show when they are doing funny things. The strippers get a little old and when Howard starts talking about how great he is it really gets old.

I lived in the DC area in '81/'82 and started on Howard back then. He was awesome!! I I, too, switch over to music, another talk show or simply a CD. And perhaps I have evolved since the early 80s while Howard's show has kept after the same demos. Shit, am I getting old??
