Tiger is one of the best golfers in the game. In 20 years, his name will still be associated with the game just like Nicholas and all the others that we associate with it now. He worked hard to get to where he is, so he deserves the credit he gets.

Did his game decline after? Yup. Did he give a fuck? Nope. He was glad to be married and be in love. He retired not too long ago and he's living with his wife and kid. I think that's admirable.

Seriously, she's hot and he's a superstar and all. He gets plenty of money from endorsements. But his game has been majorly in the tank the last year or so. I don't know a serious athlete (and Tiger is a serious athlete) who's willing to let their game go, no matter what sort of marital bliss or financial comfort they've got going on. The guy is a competitor, and I have faith he'll work back to the top, but he's got a long road ahead of him, and it's full of guys who cut their teeth training to top him.

Maybe he should pull a Michael Jordan and retire once or twice, then take a stab at professional baseball. A golf swing and a baseball bat swing are pretty similar, after all....

It's not that he sucks, far from it, but he's made his money. Why does he still go out there and play. For that matter, play hurt. As I understand it his back is a major problem and not likely to get better if he's out there swinging on the course. It's not like he's ignorant. He's well spoken and seems to me, at least from the interviews I've seen, that he's got a good head on his shoulders. Why not retire?

I've never picked up a golf club in my life, but for some reason I find it facinating to watch. I pretty much gave up watching any sport that didn't have cheerleaders, but golf... don't know what happened.

Regardless of who feels what... my personal congrats to Tiger for his career to date. And... just an opinion... I think they (Tiger and his new bride) look pretty damn good together.

Agassi used to be really good at tennis then he married Brooke Shields. He still is quite good but not the winner he used to be. Don't know if was because of getting married but it has been speculation for some time. Tiger Woo has also dropped a bit since meeting this woman.

He's not popular because he's good at golf, He's popular because he's really young and he's one of the first great black golfers. I'd bet a good % of his fans have never even watched him play.

I like to watch him play.. well not recently because he's been in a slump, but generally speaking, he's a good golfer. My only gripe about Tiger is the Media coverage. He had more media covering his wedding than the last PGA tour winner did for winning the tour. I remember seeing a while ago, his 8-9th(ish) place finish was pictured on the front sports page and the winner had a little blurb somewhere in the article.

I do believe that tiger woods is more popular than the game he plays.
