a commercial that's bugging me...
So.... here's the commercial:
It's a verizon commercial for the v710 model phone.... There's a guy walking in a train listening to his headphones. He stumbles into another train car where a band in playing a song.... then he wakes up from this strange trippy dream he's having and finds that he's sitting next to a guy in a purple velvet jacket (the singer of the band was wearing this). Does anyone know what song this is? It's been really bugging me. I recommend you all watch the TV for hours until you find this commercial. Yes.

No, but an awesome commercial is the Dentyne Frost Bites one where the dude eats a bunch in a taxi, then his head freezes and falls off and his girlfriend and the taxi driver are screaming back and forth. Funniest commercial ever.

I hate that commercial for Lamisil (sp?) foot fungus tablets, where this little "fungus" beast thing lifts UP the toenail of some person, and digs right in. The whole lifting up of the toenail makes me cringe.

As to the song? I don't know, I haven't seen the ad, and for the first time, Adtunes.com has failed me. |

"Advertising for Veriations All begins today in Massachusetts and New York. The television commercials feature a rendition of The Beatles' song "All Together Now." (See related news release, "Verizon Launches Advertising for Innovative 'Veriations' Package of All Communications Services.")"
found that via google, but having no television and probably(undoubtedly) living in the wrong country has stopped me from seeing this commercial so quite frankly i have no idea if thats what youre looking for or not. |

They perform in the commercials as they did in their original performance art pieces - as abstract post-modern gymnasts. They have always been true "performance artists" (that is where my own interest in their work lies, as well) and have expanded their repertoire to include multimedia.

Most commercials make me want to shoot myself in the face. But occasionally there's a good one, like the Rube Goldberg Honda commercial. That one was really sweet, if you haven't seen it its posted all over the web. It took them over 300 takes to get it right.

The best/worst commercial I ever saw was for Earthworm Jim. It was an early morning before school and my brother and I were eating breakfast. The commercial comes on with an old lady eating a giant bowl of worms and my brother hurls everywhere. It was disgusting but hilarious at the same time.
