Usually I'm not talking to you because I forgot your name, and I'm embarassed about it. Usually I just try to leave- make up some excuse, check my cell phone (the vibrate feature is fantastic because you can just fake a call), suddenly have to go to the bathroom, whatever. If I can't get away, I'm not too terrified by awkward silence, especially if I'm staring at something importantly so it looks like I'm not just ignoring them.

My father in law. He takes forever to explain even the simplest topics, and goes on wild tangents and frequently pauses for lengthy amounts of time.

Makes me want to kill myself everytime I talk to him.

Its also even worse for me because I don't do alot of talking about stupid crap just to waste time. I'd rather be wasting time talking to people here.

I'm not much of a talker unless I know you real well. Even then when I talk to you it'll probably be a conversation filled with things that you may find important but I'll find mildly interesting. It's like I've heard the conversation before. Even when I'm introduced to new people. Its like everyone has something to say but its all been said before.

I would have to say my coworker Brandon (smells like no other)...just the stench coming off him makes your eyes water and makes you want to pass out.....and I would have to say my g/f's kid....the dude says um and uh after ever other frikin word it gets annoying....just say what your gonna say so I can complain that I wasted 10 minutes of my life talking to you

There used to be a girl at my work that was a "conversation sniper". If you were having a conversation within an earshot of her then she would walk over and talk to no end about whatever. Somehow she always had a story that was loosely related to what we were talking about. Then that story would lead into a completely unrelated story and so on. Good thing she quit :)

jeez.. i think my post count speaks for itself as to where I fit in...
