I think you can't predict the future, mostly because it hasn't happened yet. Now predicting the past, thats doable. I feel people who believe in psychics, astrology, and other paranormal events have a need or desire to believe for some reason, and not necessarily for rational reasons. Me, I believe in P.T. Barnum. There's a sucker born every minute.

That's just the thing. They do not turn up new information. They give the police guesses. The mental anguish the parents went through and the roller coaster the so-called psychic added to is something no one should ever have to face.

If it is your position that there are real psychics who have helped police solve crimes then put forth the facts. And by this I mean objective fact. This would consist of any case where a psychic is quoted - most importantly, BEFORE THE DISCOVERY - with specific knowledge they could not have known about a crime.

There are numerous examples of psychics themselves saying AFTER a discovery that they told the police "such and such", with great specificity. There are no objective testable cases where a psychic said "the body is on the west end of Ye Olde Bridge" or anything remotely that specific.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that there is not ONE example?

But again, in the spirit of objectivity, I await any factual, documented, verifiable facts that will change my mind.
