Need help with Absentee ballot!
I don't know if this was the right section or not to post this but since the registered to vote question is here I thought I'd give it a try.
I got my absentee ballot in the mail today and I'm wondering what the rules are for having a witness. I'm voting in Virginia and evidently we need a signature from a witness. Can anybody help me with what I need to do,like what type of witness I need for example? This is my first time voting and I don't want to mess it up. |

if you are in school, generally someone in the registrar's office can serve as a witness. I always vote absentee becauswe of my travel schedule, I'll usually just pop into Town Hall and have someone there witness it for me.
