I'm a fan of AoM. I've used them for a few months now and you can't beat the price and quality/options Their content can be a little spotty though... they have artists I wouldn't expect to be there, but then they're missing some I would expect. Downloads are generally fast, never had any problems with the service.

Frickin love it.
I'm not too worried about legality--being one of the horde is pretty decent safety. Or, decent enough as long as the RIAA sues only in batches of hundreds. They don't cover every group I've ever wanted them to (no B52's!?) but they have LOTS of electronica, downtempo and chillout. |

At these low prices I highly doubt a substantial amount of money if any at all goes to the artist so what is the point in buying from a middle man what you could have for free? If it eases your conscience then that's great but it seems like nothing more than a senseless waste of money to me.
How's the black/death metal selection?
