What's your interest level in the upcoming Olympics?

I'll watch some. I like the swimming events... mmmmm swimmers...
I wish they showed more of the equestrian events. I'd watch all of that.

I stopped caring about the Olympics when I was old enough to not be interested in whatever my parents were watching.
Soemthing about a whole lot of advertisement, overhype of something as trivial as sports, and now professional athletes competing in an amateur competition just doesn't appeal to me

Way back when I was young and in shape, I swam competitively in high school and college, so the swimming I love, this year, I am especially interested in Michael Phelps -- this kid is amazing in the pool, and it's be really cool if he beats Mark Spitz's record.
Those are about the only events that really hold my interest...

I'll try to catch some of the events (my favorites are the swimming, soccer, and basketball competitions) whenever I have some free time. Based on the exhibition games, the US basketball team could be in for a rough ride in their attempt to win the gold.

I have a personal friend running in the 800m who has a chance to make finals... I'm highly interested!
Unfortunately, 80% of all athletes in the sprints are so drugged up that it doesnt even really matter. The only reason Marion Jones didn't make the 100m is because she's off her drugs, and everyone else is still on theirs. It's disgusting how many US athletes dope and don't get tested

I like it. I wait for this event for every four years for as long as I can remember. My favorite competition is gymnastic. Flexible, petite girls flipping in the air....what more can you ask??

It's a very corrupt system. Hopefully officials crack down on this. If there aren't system wide testing and punishments, doping will always occure.

I am very interested in the Olympics. I like the Canadian coverage for one thing, CBC does a really good job. I also just like to see every athelete from my country do good. It's not like in the states where theres an american winning a medal in every event. It must get boring. I also like seeing shots of the host country, and Greece will be really cool to see. Plus I like sports.

I would watch the Olympics more if there was a dependable schedule of when the events I'm interested in are going to be televised. I don't care about running in circles or swimming back and forth in a pool, I want to watch judo, wrestling, and tae kwon do dammit !

Ill probably watch some of the cycling coverage (that is, if they even show any of it ), but beyond that, Ill probably just watch occasionally.

Albeit, the standards for testing in the states has risen over the past years since 2001, which is why you see the times rising back to normal standards. there is no fucking way Montgomery ran his world record clean... No way in hell. NOBODY runs that fast without doping..

I watch more of the winter games than the summer ones.
I'd watch more if the coverage was better. During the Winter games I watch CBC's coverage. (Canadian TV for those not in the know) One of the benifits of living in Michigan is getting CBC on basic cable.

and those little tiny speedos on the divers? Close enough to nekkid... Watch Water Polo not on network tv-- they'll do a lot of underwater shots, those tiny speedos get pulled in a varierty of directions - and well - it's all in living color. Not that I've given this any real thought....

Medium here - I do enjoy watching them when I can, but it's not so important to me that I plan time to watch it. I also like the Winter Olympics better, more sports that I enjoy watching in there.

I enjoy watching the Olympics - summer or winter. I won't go out of my way to schedule TV time around it, but will always watch it when it's on.

Meh. The Olympics are too fucking boring, I'd rather watch that 4th rerun of Law and Order any day.
