I don't know if the girls think they're sexy, but I damn sure get a good laugh out of them.

My father built all of us kids skateboards in 1966. We were listening to Jan and Dean, and we just HAD to go sidewalk surfing. He took four planks, and cut them down to size, sanded, and shellacked them. Then, he attached roller skate wheels (one set in front and one set in back).

And we were off....

Danm straight us skaters are sexy. Every hot piece of ass in H.S. was all over my skater buddies and me because they thought we were "bad boys".

I think I am too old to find an average skater sexy. Usually I think they are comical when I see them trying to show off and act tough, like they were just casually hanging in a public place with their skates while every and each one of them is trying to pose as hard as they can.

Sexy? Only if you spend unGodly amounts on name braned Skater cloths. I never did that.

Not that I have anything against them but I don't find skateboarders particularly sexy because they are way too young! I mean hell....a girl has to have a few principles about robbing the cradle!

I wouldn't say skateboarding in itself makes you sexy. If you're already sexy, and you happen to skateboard, then it's just part of the package. :) But no, I don't swoon at the sight of skateboarders if thats what you want to know. :p

Frankly, I don't find skateboarders sexy. They're kids having fun. I find intelligence (among other things) sexy.

I've never seen a boarder actually pull off a trick, except on TV. Every time I see a boarder jump up and try, they fall down. They do fall with style though. Maybe that's dead sexy to somebody.

I know, I'm a guy, but, I mean, what the heck is so impressive about skateboarding? It doesn't contribute to getting you anything in life and the clothes half of them wear make it hard to walk without having your pants fall down. *shrug*

(Don't mean to offend anyone, it's just definitely not my kind of thing)

haha, i used to really, really think it was, and now i don't really at all. i mean, i love a guy who's passionate about something, so if he's passionate about skateboarding that would be a turn-on, but not skateboarding itself.

You should go watch a skate video to get an idea of what can be done and they try and do a basic ollie. It might give you some idea of the skill involved :)

Even as a teacher you can <b>think</b> a kid in H.S. is sexy all you want...just make sure to keep those kind of thoughts to yourself. ;)

Oh, and btw, while she admires the skill of <b>some</b> of the skateboarders at her school, my 15 year old daughter thinks that, as a whole, most skateboarders spend to much time trying to look and act cool, and just look sloppy and ridiculous. Of course she's a bit of a "nerd", albeit a hot little nerd. ;) [goes off to look for shotgun]

Methinks anything done well can be attractive, If you can ollie revert flip-flop upside the head... backwards, then girls will probably dig it.

Some people can simply speak and ooze sex appeal.

I don't think Skaters or boarders are sexy because of what they do. It's how they look doing it and how they do it. Showoffs are a turn off for me. If they are genuinely trying new stuff - whether they succeed or fail if they respond with being able to laugh at themselves and get back up and go at it again. THAT I find sexy. It's the confidence they have in themselves to keep working at it when it's not going right that I find sexy.

Ditto. In my eyes, I see a bunch of bored teenagers trying to kill some time....Not really understanding the appeal.

Oh man, the skater thing... When I was in high school and junior high, skaters were the hotness. All my crushes and friends were skaters and it was just so cool to me. I really didn't like guys who played sports so this was my alternative. I loved everything about these guys. But now I'm a little more grown up (mind that I said a little), and I agree with Secret about the whole pants falling off their ass and that dumb style. But aww memories...

My pants were never sagging and I was buff, too. :p

the only fine girls that seem to like skaters are under 17.
