Lady Luck seems to have a crush on me this summer. I've been winning contests one after the other in the last month or so. They've all been for advanced movie screenings. Here's what I've won so far:

Advanced Screenings of:
Napolean Dynamite (4 Tickets) (Won twice)
Garden State (2 Tickets) - Writer/Director/Lead Actor Zach Braff was at the Atlanta premier and did a Q&A after the movie.
Catwoman (6 Tickets) (Won twice)
The Village (2 Tickets)

And it's not like I won all these tickets from the same company. I've won from 4 different companies. Not bad, eh? :D

Has anyone else been lucky lately? While I wouldn't want me new girlfriend to be cheating on me, I would allow it for a fellow TFPer ;)

You act like this is a new development... lady luck and you have had a serious relationship for your entire life!... you dont need to worry about me though, she wont come anywhere near me this summer... or ever for that matter.

Lemme as you this: have you been entering contests regularly for a long time and just started winning or did you just enter a slug of contest for the first time?

I've always entered a few contests here and there, but lately I've been entering every movie screening/dvd giveaway contest that I've come across for the Atlanta area.

if it weren't for crappy luck, I'd have no luck at all....

I had a similar experience two years ago where I was winning everytime I called in for a local radio station contest. I won a bunch of movie tickets, some concert tickets and some cds. Was great for awhile but one day it just stopped. Could be that I just got some work to do and didn't have as much time to waste dialing the phone.

okay, that's pretty cool, but I have to question the 'luck' involved in winning catwoman tickets. Isn't that more of an ill fortune? ;-)

The only luck I have is bad luck.... Well, I can't say that. I tend to win stuff from one local radio station. The give away concert tix, cd's etc. I can win at least once a month if I try.

Hmm, I don't know if I'd exactly call that good luck. ;)

I had a fling with lady luck, but she gave me syphillis.
