'Allow'.

'Allow' is an interesting little word, which despite what you'd think, means completly the opposite of what it should.
The word 'allow', in a rough translation, means 'fuck it/that', for instance 'allow walking to the shops to buy 'snouts' (see below)' means 'i cannot be fucked, i'd rather stay here and smoke a 'bub' (see below)'.
Of course, 'allow' can also be used so signify other emotions. If, for instance, you wish to dismiss someone/something, allow can be easily used, e.g after you've broken your mothers vase the phrase 'look mum, allow' can be used to signify your indiference, and your desire for her not to be pissed off at you, along with hoping she will just accept it and move on.

The origins of 'allow' stem most likely from the ecstacy ridden minds of several people trying to have a conversation. The word probably started off as 'disallow' or a similar deritive, but through due course of people forgetting the basics of english, or just not being fucked to finish a proper word, it was shortened to 'allow'.

It must be noted however that the word 'allow' can only be used among those who are fully understand the correct usage of the word. If it is uttered among those who are unfamiliar, one may very well find oneself in a situation which one really didn't intend to get into, such as having to describe the usage of the world 'allow'.


'Snout'

The word snout is used in replacment of ciggarette, but also may be interchanged for fag.

The word snout is most commonly used in the immediate waking hours after a party, where the alpha male of the group will often be heard bellowing snout at the top of his lungs (pronounced schnout, as if from up north). This bellow will also be joined in by the beta male, and then the rest of the pack. After several minutes of shouting during which the entire group will be woken, the leading members of the pack will spend roughly half an hour in the vain search for the affore mentioned 'snout'.
It is wise to take note that very rarely do the alpha and beta females (and therefor the rest of the sub-dominant females) take part in this activity, instead prefering to use their guile and wait until the male members have gone foraging for 'snout money' and purchased a 'deck of snouts' and returning. They then will often be seen using their sexuality and the general hungover-ness of the males to obtain a 'snout'.
After the smoking of this treasured article, pack members undertake the arduous task of cleaning up the carnage of the previous night and returning to their own pride lands.

Snouts can also be used to create 'bubs', part of the snout will be removed, creating a 'twisty'. 'Twistys' are often relegated to the back of a 'snout deck' unless a situation is reached where the pack/pack member no longer has any 'snouts' left, and is relegated to smoking a 'twisty'


'Bub' (pronounced bu-b, as in the 'bu' from 'buh')

A 'bub' is similar to a 'snout' in that it is smoked, and that cravings for it may occur after very short amounts of time. A normal 'bub' is created with the use of a plant known as 'wacky tobaccy'. Although being refered to as 'tobaccy' the plant is not related to tobacco (as found in 'snouts') and produces a mental experience akin to finding out oneself is infact the music, and therefor must also be the paint on the wall.

A bub is constructed from 'skins', a lightweight material derived normally from hemp (the same plant as 'waccy tobaccy' except with less mind altering properties) or rice paper, and is not infact the skin of a small rodent. The term 'skin' is most likely derrived from the way in which early stoner-gatherers used the skins of captured prey to create 'bubs', or the way in which the 'skin' covers the 'bub', we will never really be sure.

Once constructed using copious amounts of 'waccy tobaccy', the 'bub' is light with a small naked flame, or a large naked flame, depending on what kind of flamable objects are nearby.
The smoke produced by the 'bub' is inhaled, produced an effect on the user known as 'fucked' (see below).


'Fucked'

'Fucked' is used to describe the state in which one gets after inhaling the smoke of 'waccy tobaccy'. Pack members in this state are known to be lazy, incapable of proper speech, and highly susceptable to humor.

It is widly speculated that after becoming 'fucked', pack members would take other narcotics which would lead them to a state of 'gibbering inanly at a pot plant'. In this state pack members have been known to create all sorts of new terms and phrases (see allow), as well as creating life long friendships with small inanimate objects.


'nehoos' (pronounced n-e-hoo)

This conundrum is a product of being 'fucked' and using something known as 'the internet (see below)'. Technically a phonetical abbreviation of 'anyhoo', which is in turn an alteration of anyway.

Confusion arises when pack members who are 'fucked' try to communicate with ajoining prides who are not 'fucked'. More often than not, the word 'nehoos' is read as spelt, producing a confusion similar to losing one shoe but not the other as the non-'fucked' person pronounces it as 'nee-hoos'. This is of course, means absoloute bollocks, so a lengthy explination making candid references to 'gibbering inanly at a pot plant' and 'bubs', while not actually giving a direct meaning of the word 'nehoos'.


'Scene'

'Safe'

Making direct reference to the safety of a large locking lump of metal, the word 'safe' is often used to describe a situation/object at hand that is considered pleasing and good.
For instance, if the alpha male of a pack was able to aquire a 'snout' from the beta male, he would often be heard uttering 'safe' as he unloaded it from the beta males ownership. This indicates his pleasure, and his respect for the passing of the 'snout'.

In situations that are not as pleasing, the word 'safe' may be replaced with the word 'scene'. Some packs have been noted to operate with 'scene' as the primary pleasure indicator, and some have been known to have no difference in pleasure indication. This should be paid special attention to when interacting with pack members so as not to sound like a 'gimp'.

The word safe is usually only in direct reference to something affecting the pack member uttering the word, where as the word 'scene' can be used to describe a situation of a grander scale.

In circumstances where mating is occured, males will often discard the words 'safe' and 'scene' for more colourful expressions such as 'fuck/blow me', or if the mating is occuring with a subdominant male and dominant female, quiet mumblings on behalf of the male.




It is hoped that with this modern day guide to language, budding anthropologists may be able to fully communicate with todays youth, and bring around a whole new understanding of their unique and somewhat 'fucked' culture.

There's another usage of "allow" that was somewhat common in the South years ago that most people don't understand anymore. It can be be used as a synonym for "say" or "declare", as in:

"I talked to Tom yesterday."

"Oh yeah? What did he have to allow?"

Your ones are rather similar to our own, though since you reminded me of mission, i feel another entry.


'Mission'
Generic term to describe the displeasure of someone when confronted with a distance to aquire something. Usually, the plural of the word 'missions' is used, even when dealing with a singular 'trek' (see below).
'Missions' can be used to describe both long and short 'treks', but with increasing distance, the pronounciation takes on a more exasperated and 'pissed off' tone.
Usage of the word has also been widly documented to not only show distain at a 'trek', but to immediatly render it undoable, therefor enabling the pack member to sit down and get 'fucked'.
Instances of the word occuring may be as follows:
"would someone come with me to get some 'snouts' so we can roll a 'bub' and get 'fucked' before later on 'gibbering inanly at a pot plant'?."
"Thats 'missions', 'allow'."
Thus the entire 'trek' to fetch 'snouts' would be eliminated, thus rendering the 'bubs' 'harsher' as they would have to be smoked 'pure'.


'Trek'
A 'mission', usually refering more to the physical distance rather than the effort involved, though both can be readily interchanged.


'Safe as fuck' (sorry, it just had to go in )
Similar to 'safe' or 'scene', but representing a higher repsect and pleasure. Not to be confused with 'safe and fucked', which indicates a person being in his 'yard' (see below) and highly unconsious.


'Yard'
The home of the pack member in question. 'Yards' are often used to get 'fucked' as they are mostly devoid of law enforcment personel, and contain a readily available supply of 'munch' (see below).


'Munch'
Food items, usually devoured in significant quanities by 'fucked' pack members. Supply of 'munch' normally illicits the response of 'safe as fuck'.

'The internet'
The single largest repository of pornography known to man (and beast, depending on pack members views). While mainly a repository of illicit materials, the 'internet' also allows instantanous communication with other pride lands and members, without the embarressment of having to physically see or talk to them. This has lead to many pride and pack members communicating in their under-layers, sheding off their outer protective layers and engaging in a form of reproduction that would be considerably more effective if both members were in the same place.
The 'internet' also allows the retrieval of vast quanities of information, early attempts at this type of data storage can be seen in the caves of france and germany, though without nearly as much pornography.
