Sheesh. That shit is crazy. That's a crapload of comics. Only a serious freak would collect 200,000+ comic books.

Goddamn, that IS a shitload of comic books...expensive ones at that. I wonder why if the collection is worth over $1,000,000, why is he going to let it go for 1/4 of it's value? Something seems fishy. Or, more likely, I just don't understand the world of comic book collectors.

It's a big job to deal with comics the way you bought them - one at a time - when you sell them. And the value of most of them are not what you get paid for them. It does make sense to pull the top value ones, sell them separately, and sell the rest in lots at a loss. In general, IMO - comics are not a strong investment.
