The contents of mine are as follows:
- 4 crushed pepsi cans, diet - 2 empty bottles of Heineken - 1 empty bottle of Tooheys New - Misc pieces of cut up plastic - 3/4's of a rubber glove - Assorted tissues, wont bother counting - Misc lint What's in yours? |
DUDE! Come on, half that stuff is recyclable! :mad:
As for mine, I'm not really sure, just lots of little things. What I can remember is a pack of Big Red, some DVD wrappings, and a couple fabric softener sheets :p |

I don't have a trash can indoors. I hang plastic grocery bags from the cabinet and carry them out to the dumpster when they're full.
As for what's in the bag du jour: -- coffee filter full of used coffee grounds -- styrofoam trays from a package of split chicken breasts and a package of sliced mushrooms -- lid and straw from a fountain soda -- cardboard tube from a spent roll of paper towels -- used aluminum foil -- assorted food waste -- cigarette butts |

Empty fast food bags
Broken watch I've been tinkering with for a while. I threw it there in a fit of frustration.... and I just know that in a few hours I'm going to go dig the damn thing out again and get back to work... it's sitting there with a pretty smug look on it's face for the time being. Im at work and it was empty this morning so not much other than 2 empty dr pepper cans (about to be 3) bag with unfinished breakfast biscuit, and assorted used post it notes

*sigh* Please tell me that the recycling people go through your trash for you or something (although, I know they don't). I feel so....sad. :(

paper. lots and lots of used wads of paper. toilet, writing, nose, and otherwise. oh, and there are some fishsticks in there too.

To recycle ANYTHING we have to take it across town to the dump. In our apt complex there is no place to keep our recyclables. We're not allowed to keep any bin or garbage can on our patio outside (they're such pricks). If and when we move our city provides everyone with bins and they collect the recyclables with the trash if we live in town. If we go to the place we're hoping for they have a burn can already there for paper, we'll have to take our own trash to the dump to pay for it, so you can be sure we'll be more ecologically minded. Even still, we aready do recycle our cans at least. Everything else is hard to find a recycling center that will take it. Even the plastics - in our town they only accept milk jugs.

I just took out my trash tonight so there is some leftover mac and cheese and a few empty boxes that can't be recycled.
