Really though, I typically hate all these types of things. I never understand what they are unless there's a discussion about them like this one. It always takes me forever to figure out crazy abbreviations as well.

Ive always known ^^ to be the same as ^_^ the japanese style smilies ( vastly better imo heh ) meaning happy. Though i have seen it used as i agree with the above in chat

From other boards I know NSFW to be Not Suitable For Work 9or some aproximation thereof).

I have no clue what HEGRE means though.
