I'm from Kansas and it's pop there. I live in OKC now, but I still say pop. Some ppl give me shit about it, but a well said "fuck you" usually takes care of that.

What I want to know is- WTF is Mr Pibb?? I love Dr. Pepper and that lame ass Mr. Pibb is NO substitute! I was surprised to read above that Dr. Pepper is not as popular up north. They're really missing out. But is Mr. Pibb popular ANYWHERE?

I know you can't get a Dr. P in South America. All the places I've been to down there had never even heard of it. I was really jonesin' by the time I came back.

I think mr.Pibb is a rootbeer, Dr.P wanna be mix. It sucks ass. As far as I know, you can only get Dr.P in the US and in the UK. I know you can't find it in stores in asia, but the american club in Bangkok do sell it to member, and you have to be an American to be in it, so locals can't just come in and buy the shit.

Anyway, I wonder if it's a coincidence that people in the south say coke and the Coca-Cola headquarters just happen to be in Georgia.

just plain silly to use 'pop' rather than 'soda' (even though the previously mentioned term 'liquid death' or 'tooth destroyer' would be more accurate).

The only way to clear this up is for everyone to quit asking for a pop or soda or cola..... ( Cola..... don't get me started on that one.)......... and go their own.

Pefect example, because I'm from Wisconsin and its Soda.... now I'm in Indiana and its Pop... I used to call it pop, but I like 'Soda' so much more. (don't ask I'm just weird.. and a cheesehead!)
