Mini Memorial for Memorial Day
I would just like to post up here about Memorial Day, I'm writing this at 12:10 am, watching a show on the History Channel called 'Save Our History' about WWII and the memorial in WA DC now.
As some of you may know, my dad is an officer in the Army currently serving in Kuwait, He is a VFW (Veteran's of Foreign Wars) and lives his life for America. My brother is also in the service, in the Air Force. I know that this board is a world-wide board and Memorial Day may not have any impact on you at all whatsoever, but I would like to ask of all that care to please take a moment of silence, reflect and thank any veterans you know or any veterans you may see. This goes for countries other than America too, soldiers in other countries, be-it Allies or Axis fought in WWII, and all of them deserve respect on this day atleast. I would finally like to thank all of you who take part in this mini-memorial for all of our world's lost souls due to wars. Just a little note, over 52 Million people died in WWII. To many souls lost

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |
