As my first post on the TFP forums, I figured nothing could be better at getting to know people than to ask.. "You're naked, now what?"

I was specifically prompted by this post regarding peeing in the shower.

Now then.. I figure there are only four orders you can shower in.. and my idle curiousity wonders what is the most popular?

(1) Shampoo first, then neck down.
(2) Neck down, then shampoo.
(3) Shampoo first, then feet up.
(4) Feet up, then shampoo.

I'm personally (4), as I hate having shampoo in and around my eyes during the course of the shower.

Put conditioner in
soap up arms, torso, legs...shave under arms
soap up face
rinse conditioner
rinse soap from everywhere

so guess that kinda makes me a 1?

My patern is - get nekid, shampoo, conditioner, everything else, rinse.

Mostly 1, but I throw shave at the end. I am curious about the brushing teeth, cuz I do not like rinsing with hot water

Wash my body with poofie thing (Top to bottom)
Rinse
Dry

I used to brush my teeth in the shower if I was in a hurry.

A variation on #1.

Shampoo, rinse, don't repeat.
Conditioner.
Soap, then rinse.
Rinse conditioner.
Shave.

Shampoo always comes first and soaping up from the neck down comes last but there's a lot more inbetween for me.
I shampoo first so that I can use a conditioner and let it set for a few minutes while I do everything else. Then I'll usually shave armpits, legs and if it's the right day pubes. Then I'll soap down and rinse from the neck down. I never wash feet first as they tend to be the dirtiest - especially in the summer cause I love to go barefoot or in sandels. I'm not washing that dirt and then washing my pubes.

Number one.

Rinse, shampoo, condition, lather, rinse, clean conditioner, standing around a bit while i completly forget what i'm meant to be doing elsewhere and then a hasty retreat to the towel.

If it's after a workout, i don't shampoo, but give the body parts i've just a long spray with the shower to make them feel all toasty and nice.

Nope, I do the same thing. You can really do a better job when you're not worrying about splashing toothpaste everywhere and having it run down your chin.

I don't have a specific order. Sometimes I shampoo first, sometimes I soap up first. I do go neck down though, it just makes more sense to me.

My wife shampoos first (followed by conditioner) then works her way down as the conditioner is doing its thing.

11) soap armpits and where the sun don't shine again
12) clean ears
13) wash face
14) rinse everything

i recently shaved my head, so the conditioning part is now gone as there is no hair to condition anymore

I notice the majority use a conditioner on their hair....(gave those up about 6-7 years ago and found it isn't necessary), but not a lot shave in the shower, which kind of surprised me.

Yikes...my hair is too long to go without. I'd never get a comb through if I didn't use conditioner.

I voted shampoo first and then neck down as it's the closest option. I have to shampoo and stuff first because I feel like if I wash my body first, then my dirty hair is still dripping on my now clean body and making cleaning my body useless.

Stand under HOT water
Wet/Shampoo Hair
Shoulders down (mmm Bubbles)
Rinse then Conditioner
Stand under water
Rinse Conditioner
Face/shaving as needed
Stand under water

I'm pretty quick too... usually in and out in less than 10 minutes ... compared to my sister's 40

My routine is as follows: I shampoo, rinse, apply conditioner and leave it there while I soap up my legs and bikini area, then I shave my legs and bikini area and underarms. Then I rinse out the conditioner. It works well for me

Wake up.

If daughter is staying (50% here, 50% at her mother) put on shorts.
Walk to bathroom.
Turn on shower to warm up.
Brush teeth.
Have a dump if required.
Get into shower.
Wash chest & arms.
Wet hair and face.
Wash "naughty bits", legs, feet.
Wash hair (can't afford real poo, so have to use sham-poo)
Apply shave lotion.
Wash back.
Enjoy hot water on back of nneck.
Shave (Mach 3, face only)
Wash face.
Hit shower off switch.
Stand under water until it stops.
Drain for a few seconds
Get out.
Wrap in towel & robe.
Put glasses back on.
Walk 3 steps.
Remove glasses.
Demist glasses.
Put glasses back on.
Go get coffee.
