have a good luck charm?
i'm just curious, what are some of your good luck charms? i don't have any but i'm looking for an idea. my best friend gave me a "good luck bracelet" a few weeks ago. the object is that it brings you good luck but when you lose it you get bad luck (or something?)
i lost it immediately.

An object you think brings you good luck? Nope, can't quite manage that foma.
I do flip coins to make decisions alot, and I wear a "school ring" of sorts. Hmm. Maybe I should take to carrying my silver quarter around and use it as my canonical coin? Heh, I'll probably just end up spending it!

I've got a horseshoe necklace.
I don't put any stock in it. It's my favorite, its sturdy and quality made and I like how it looks on me. So I could say it's lucky as in I wear it all the time when I go out and my "luck" as you would have it hasn't been all that bad in the past year. There are ups and downs in the everyday but the general direction of my life is up. I don't really believe in good luck charms. Good luck is made of planning, circumstance, and hard work. (Just don't tell lady luck I said that. )

While I can't say its actually brought me good luck, I keep the key from the car I learned to drive on when I was 16 on my keychain. I'm thirty six now so I guess I've had good luck not losing it!

So from here, the question arises, when you have a test one day and a date the next, which day to you wear the lucky underwear? I have no luck charms that come to mind. I do have an unhealthy attachment to a help necklace I've had for awhile however...

I used to think that my school ring and my boyfriends cross ring were indications of my good/bad luck. When I put it on.. I would pick it up from my little container and go to put them on... and if my boyfriends ring (went on first under my class ring since it is about 5 times too big) was facing me (the cross) it was an indication of good luck that day. And if I put on my school ring over it, and my name was facing me that just made my day even better.
I kindof backed off that theory.. but it sometimes seems to be correct. |

I wear two crosses around my neck. One is the traditional Christian/Catholic Cross. The other is a Celtic cross.
My mother gave me the Catholic Cross and my father gave me the Celtic Cross. They aren't really good luck charms as much as they're hanging on my neck in an attempt to make myself feel better.

I have a four leaf clover tattooed on my hip. Actually, I got it exactly one year ago today. (May 1) It's been pretty lucky I guess.

I used to carry my grandfather's pocketknife, not so much for luck as it was a constant reminder, but I lost it, sadly.

I'm one for the lucky shirt, but I'm constantly upgrading... It changes from month to month. I'm too lazy to carry extra stuff around. except maybe a "lucky rubber". It's lucky because (like most women) it hasn't touched my "swimsuit area"...
