In as much as I like Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Minnesota seems to be the closest "Scoop Shop" to me. Regretably, I think I'm gonna have to pass on the free ice cream. :(

Let's see, a little quick math here. The cost of gas for driving 86 miles, round trip, for free ice cream versus just going ten blocks and buying a cone, at Goodrich Dairy...Hmmm. oh well.

Don't forget the half-hour to 2 hour lineup at the store itself!

Closest one is 2 hours away in 3 different directions... damn!

I got to my local Ben and Jerry's (86th St and 3rd Ave) at 12:10 PM and waited about 20 minutes. They had a limited number of flavors available, but it was worth it.

On to Baskin Robbins tomorrow!

They don't even have a Ben and Jerry's in my state. The nearest one is in Minneapolis more than 4 hours away. :(

To be honest I don't think I've even tried Ben and Jerry's Icecream. And I love icecream. :( Wish I could have a scoop.

Not to worry, Bill! There is a store in Chicago, as well! I will drive there, and you can drive back- deal?
