My sister died today
 

She was 33. She looked 63.

You only get one body, folks. Abuse it now, pay the price later.

My sympathies for the loss.
not that is really my business, but did she smoke/drink/etc excessively to hasten her demise or was it other things like cancer/occupational hazards/etc?

My sister led a life of short sighted self-indulgence. Her mind, body and personal life were destroyed by her addiction to immediate gratification in all forms – food, sex, drugs, etc.

After overdosing on god-knows-what drug, her kidneys failed. She did not go to dialysis regularly, because she was “too busy” and didn’t like the doctors telling her what to do.

All in all, my sister was a pretty crappy person. Even before she got into drugs, she lied to, stole from, and hurt those around her. She had no regard for the future – her own or anybody else’s, and left a wake of destruction behind. Somewhere out there, there is a daughter she abandoned who probably doesn’t even know here mother is dead.

If we lived in a world where drugs did not exist, she would have still found a way to destroy herself and hurt people around her.

I am not saddened by her passing. She brought it on herself. But my mom and dad are devastated. It is for them that I mourn.

My thoughts are with you and yours.

I felt the same way when my best friends twin brother died cause he was always mean to me.
BUt it does hurt when some one is around your age and you see them like that.
I hope you and the family are okay. She was family so you must love her some where in your heart.
The doctor say's my brother has 2 years,
Did you know she was going to die how many years did the doctor's say she was going to live or did you think she was going to die this soon?

I knew my sis would die sooner than later. But I never had a timeframe.

My condolences for you and your family.

A very good friend of mine was in the same situation. His sister destroyed her life (I won't go into detail) but near the end, the family and him hoped for death since she was in terrible shape.

When she finally passed away, as much as my friend knew that death was better for her, it still hurt him greatly and still does. I saw what he went through, and I hope things will be ok for you and you family.
