Recomend a roomate search engine.
I'm hoping to move out for the first time within a few months and need to find a roomate. I came across Roomates.com but don't like that I have to pay to upgrade just to be able to view people's personal comments. I'm wondering if there's any free reliable sites out there that let people include information about themself. It has become a pain to write numerous people just to find out obvious things, such as "only looking to party" or "only looking for quiet study time"....
Thanks for any help guys -Tim Edit: By the way, I'm specficially looking in the San Diego area, such as La Jolla, Mesa, Pacific Beach, etc, just incase you needed to know.

I would try Craigslist for San Diego. I think there is a section in there for people looking for roommates. It's not a search engine, but you should be able to post what kind of roommate you are looking for.
