Your infomation states that in 2000, 46% of BC exports on power were to California. However, it does not state how much of BC power makes up the total power used by California. Just because BC shipped 46% of its exported power to CA, doesn't mean that the power accounted for 46% of Californias total power needs.

Just a few random notes about Texas waterways. Texas has "Woman Hollering Creek" a poor translation from the Spanish name (but it's not like Texans should know basic Spanish). The Rio Grande is not as grande because of excess damming by Mexico. The Frio River is frio.

Don't you guys have the largest border with Mexico? Have fun with the immigration w/o Federal Funding... You'll be begging to come back in a couple of years.

Where do you get your machine tools to maintain those oil rigs? Where do you get your cars and big ass trucks that you like so much? :-) Your Texan economy is so deeply intertwined with the rest of the states that you will enjoy living on a very expensive island. What do manufacturers of hardware have to do with a manufacturer of software? The only thing Microsoft helps them in is aiding in the majority of common hardware to produce, but if they werent there it'd just be some other company that molopolizes.

My "state" is the Republic of Ireland, and that beats the hell out of Texas!

Oh, and whilst living in Australia, my current state is New South Wales, which I also believe is better than Texas. I'm moving soon to Perth in Western Australia tough, so that's quite like Texas insofar as it's mostly desert.

Dell Computer wouldn't sell many computers without an OS pre-installed. 95% of all PCs are sold with Windows installed.
