I just want to live somewhere where I can bike to all my destinations. Maybe have a car for road trips.
Now I just need to get into shape so I can bike. |
I'll probably be driving my piece of crap '91 Corsica I'm driving now, since I won't be able to afford another car. I'll be paying $8.75 a gallon for gas.
|
In 20 years I'll be 64 years old. Therefore, I intend to be driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Regency 98 (white) at no more than 14 miles per hour with my left turn signal on, my hat pulled down low on my head, and only my knuckles visible above the steering wheel, thank-you-very-much.

Biodiesel all the way...soon it will be the only way to go....
|
Not what I think....but what I know I will be riding is my Italian Bianchi bicycle through the rural South Carolina Coastal line every weekend. Also I hope to....no.....I will be riding a Duccatti Supersport through the Blue Ridge Mountains of Greenville, SC and through the Shanandoah Valley, specifically, the Peaks of Otter and Skyline in Virginia on Weekend Getaways.....hugging curves and sweating adrenaline as if it was a virtual orgasm.
A collegue I overheard said "Some of us choose to live in high risk recreation". Thay may be me....but I feel alive and well with no fear, for thou art wit mi......seen!! Pom |
Hmmmm me thinks it may be time to put a muscle car in long term storage. Hopefully in 15+ years fossil fuels will still be affordable.
More than likely I will be driving a Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor. If the environmentalist wackos dont outlaw them by then. |
...a pickup truck.
|
Probably something small. I'm small, car must be small too.
|
A vehicle that is like a combonation of a pick up truck, a station wagon, and a Beetle that's on three wheels, has a top speed of 50 miles an hours and runs off something that produces power using something earth gets hit with from outspace consistantly and goooood intentions.
|
A walker.
|
Are you fucking serious?!?!? 20 years from now?? HOw the hell am I supposed to know that?!?! We could all be dead in 20 years!! Hell, we could all be dead tomorrow! I'm not going to waste any time discussing what I'll be driving in 20 years, it's just silly and wasteful to do that.
;) |
Maybe we'll be like Marty McFly and drive a Sky car

If I am still living in a metro area (I have a desire to move to the country) I would rather not be driving. My hope is mass transit would me more efficient. Something like a spoke hub system using trains. However, I would need something to get to the nearest spoke. Maybe a bicycle.
|
I'll probably be still driving my 1990 Mazda Pickup - ive been shopping since January - and at this rate will still be in 20 years...
I dont really see much changing in 20 years... probably a few more hybrids on the market... or compacts like the smartcar. But there are too many people who love thier gas guzzlers... |
|
20 YEars??? Wow thats a while from now..hmm lets see i will be 41 in 20 years....and I'm sure the vehicles will look way different than they do now......so i really cant say what I will be driving...hopefully its some kind of sports car...

A dose of reality.
China and the Usa will use up all the free market oil. America will hold out a couple more years because of their policy to eat off everyone elses plate before touching their own. Then we will all ride bicycles. |

20 years from now I will be dead. I will be driving all the hotties in the afterlife.

|
They aren't going to let me out of jail long enough to drive anywhere in 20 years.
