This is such a terrible thing. My condolences go out to the wife who lost her husband. I also hope the baby recovers safely and is okay.

That is sad. The boy's B-day will forever be a they day his dad died. My heart goes out to that family.
Good for Schlagenhaft for stopping to help. He got the experience of a lifetime to feel like he may have saved a life. And a baby at that. I hope he gets the praise he deserves.

Yea, yer right, but sometimes life just seems so unfair. It's hard to understand why things like this are supposed to happen.

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |

Holy crap; that's one of the few times that the internet has gotten a facial reaction out of me (besides laughin')...my jaw dropped hard for that one.
My prayers are out there for the child and mother both. I can't help but feel sorry for the mother; that day is probably a candidate for the happiest AND the saddest day of her life. How sad.
