Ok, am I the only one that is turned off by these commercials because I'm afraid of this car?
|
That made me sick to my stomach. I think it was definitly pushin the envelope.

The bird one was funny.
The cat one was creepy, because I can see children trying to recreate the beheading with the sunroof on dad's car. |

If any kids were to actually attempt that, then that would mean that they were fucked up beyond belief before they saw some car commercial. |

Yes!!! This is what funny is supposed to be. Unfortunately, because the U.S. has so many people that 1) find it offensive 2) think their kids will try it at home 3) will ban the car because of it's "satanic" tendencies, this ad will never air.
People just need to lighten up. I love cats, know this isn't real, and certainly appreciate the humor in it. Great ad!!!! Kudos! |
I just saw these ads, today, and they were hilarious!
The pigeon one was funny because it was unexpected and terse. The cat one was funny because it was unexpected and over the top. The kicking of the feet and the sliding off the car were just too silly to be real--obviously comical (like a drawn out death scene). Now, obviously not everyone will find the ad funny. Everyone have different senses of humour. However, it is sad how many people found it offensive (no one on this board, apparently). The ad is simply ludicrous. It's not that the cat was killed with the car but, rather, it was killed by the car! Yes, it's an evil car and evil cars will do evil things, like decapitating cats (obviously ridiculous). Couple this with how surprising it was (I was shown the ad with no warning of what it's about. I was about to make a new thread but had the foresight to do a search in case this has already been brought up. Oh, and I find the unexpected very funny) and it's a hit! Except, of course, for people who can't see any of this... |
