I dont mean to be mean, I dont mean to flame... but this comment is not worthy of this board.

As someone who actually IS fat, let me assure you Hillary Duff is not fat, or chubby - the culture that tries to tell someone who is her size that they are ugly and fat is a culture that should be opposed and knocked down in every moment.

Or just educated? I don't think the 'angry' approach is really effective in the long run.

I *do* have a problem with referring to her as 'chubby' - she looks perfect and perfectly healthy to me...

...and tbh, I'm a bit uncomfortable knowing that a person with such an attitude as the original poster has daughters (plural)...

my comments are based on one viewing of a mtv trailer, with my daughter dancing in front of the tv, so the couple of glances I got it appears that Duff is puff.

I have since watched the Lizzie McGuire movie, the lady does have shots that show she's very on par with the hollywood type, so depending on where have you seen Hilary Duff, she maybe thin, she maybe not, just an observation, need not to go to the extend of role models and stuff,

haven't thought about whether Hilary is a good role model for my kid, I hope I raised an independent woman (okay she's 13) who will form her own opinion of life, and people.
