Away from work I usually have old t-shirts and shorts. I rarely spend money on clothes. Personally, spending over $50 on an outfit is really stupid. I'd rather eat fine foods, live in a nice place and drive a nice car than have nice clothes.
At work I'm lucky to have a professional job that allows me to wear jeans and very casual collared shirts every day. I wear slacks and a golf type shit sometimes and if I had the money or the motivation to spend on clothes I would wear nicer things to work but not right now. Even my boss wears jeans most of the time and the owner of the company only wears ties like 4 times a year. |
khakis and either a t-shirt or a collared shirt, with a pocket watch on the side. you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find good pants with a watch pocket...
|
t-shirt (sometimes with button-up shirt over it), jeans, vans/airwalks (sandals/flip-flops when it's warm enough)
i try to find the softest or most comfortable pants/shirt so i can be super comfortable all day long |
Laugh at me all you want, but I'd love to do that whole Sonny Crockett thing, if I could only pull it off.
But realistically, shorts and shirt, sneakers. Casual is good. |
Mine is a mix between hippy, vintage, and preppy.

As casual as I can be while still looking good. Blue jeans, a casual collared shirt, and black leather uppers. I'm so tall and large that I always like to wear loose clothing. I used to be nothing but jeans and t-shirts, but the casual collared shirts are really appealing to me now.
Oh yeah, and Smartwool socks. SOOO comfy. |
from head to toe:
Glasses sometimes, contacts usually. most of the time a long sleeve t-shirt(it's hot here on occasion, but I still wear the long sleeves) I'm always wearing long pants, mostly jeans(it's a long story, but I'm not proud of the way my legs look). And my old nappy skateboard shoes (note to self: need shoe goo), they're about a year and a half old, and fallin apart, I need to get some new shoes. |
another... lots & lots of black person here.
generally dark non-flashy colors otherwise. occasionally a periwinkle or cobalt kinda blue gets thrown or maybe a dark khaki. jeans (black or blue), t-shirts (black cotton turtlenecks in the winter - can't stand my neck being cold), hoodies <---- love love love 'em & platform clogs. |
I like any shades of blue and grey. I wear hats, touques, visors.
jeans, cargo pants/shorts, khaki shorts t-shirts, short sleeve button ups, short sleeve polo style shirts, long sleeve button ups, sweaters, hooded sweat shirts, adidas, nike, doc's--- short ankle/ no socks in the summer, thick wool socks in the winter |
Khakis and a button down shirt. I wear shorts a lot as well.
|
casual, sports type stuff is my thing.

it doesn't seem like there are many fashion victims here, all playing safe ;)
and i'm the same. haven't had jeans since i left college though because i realized i can have two pairs of dress trousers for what i'd spend on new levi's. i know you can dress jeans up but i don't like denim teamed with classic look clothes. i prefer comfortable things like long sleeve t-shirts and sports slacks - no side stripe - and i've been told i wear too much navy blue. black and blue are my trademark. Just to confuse people i have green things too. i love good quality lining in a jacket, it's almost a fetish. i like black leather ankle boots but sandals have to be light tan for some reason. if i was rich, i'd have an irish guy called paul smith make everything for me. though i'd keep jean-paul gautier in mind for the wilder days. |
