Thinking of getting a tattoo, but would it look whack?
If I had "DEUS EX MACHINA" tattoo'd on my upper arm (it'd have to be somewhere that wouldnt show at work even if I had a short sleeved shirt on.
I mean, obviously, its supposed to be ironic, but I dont know if the whole statement would just be whack.

any chance that you have it drawn up yet so that we could see what it might look like? good idea to be able to put them away. you cant see any of mine even if i wear short sleeves. But if i wear shorts and/or roll up my sleeves, thats a differrent story. But it is nice to have the option of not having them show if i dont want them to. And OK, dead on w/ the butterfly comment. I had an ex who had a dolphin on her back. I loved painting that thing white!

XP is killing my PC!!!
But if you go into MS Paint if you have it... And type DEUS EX MACHINA In Courier New, Bold, Font Size 26 That was what I was picturing it looking like.

Call me a fuddy-duddy, but I would be VERY careful about getting any tatoo...
I find it hard to think of anything I could want permanently inked on my body that I might not find stupid or otherwise regret in later life. think about what you thought was cool 10 years ago. I don't know about you, but I found lots of things cool 10 years ago that I don't think are cool now. Ditto for what I thought was profound, a good personal statement, etc. I don't know how old you are. but at the very least I suggest you wait until your mid to late 20s before deciding on something to put on your body for the rest of your life. |

I like the idea for it. Better than all of the genericore tattoos out there right now, especially the infamous flower/animal/pretty thing on the lower back of girls. That's incredibly generic.
I put it in Garamond font type in MS Paint and I like it a lot better than Courier New. What do you think? -Lasereth

if you like it, then get it....you're the one wearing it until your dead.....it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks on the matter.
