When do they get naked? Wouldn't it be illegal to strip down in an airport?

anyway, we're members of a nudist club that paddles and camps nude on regional rivers and we've also attended some big national naturist events.

It's actually quite a different experience than non-nudists might imagine.
...no more sexual than daily life, actually.

but it's alot more honest feeling and also one feels very free from the silliest of social taboos...

Hopefully they sanitize seats after EVERY trip, if they do then more power to them.

Ok, i'm a perfectly functioning human being here, and I aint gonna lie - i've gotten boners on airplanes before. I've either been reading a book or just alone in my thoughs, but it has happened.

What would people think if I sprung one in an all-nude flight?

The funniest thing ever, my friend Ben and I were sitting in Government class, and somehow Ben came up with the concept of having nude flight attendants to stop terrorism, because its aganist the Islamic ppls religion. In theory its a great idea, I mean I wouldn't object, to FEMALE nude attendants. But whats worse is he said this out in class infront of everything and then added we should allow ugly/fat women to fight in wars and move them to the front line. Imagine this guy running for politics.

Thats pretty cool. I've always been curious about nudists.. Who knows if I'll ever try it out, I've got plenty of years left for that too. The plane sounds cool.. but it'd be pretty funny for an entire flight to just strip naked. "Alright folks, we've reach prime altitude, please feel free strip completely naked."

(eh, just for a cheap laugh...)
Five minutes later.. "And would you please look just above the video screen and wave as 'You're on Candid Camera'!"

hehe but yeah, thats pretty neat. As for what Hal said? Yeah that would be rather awkward, ya know if someone in the seat in from of you had the seat back and all... You'd run outta room. Try explaining that one to the flight attendant. :D

Anyone read David Sedaris' essay "Naked?" It's about how he spent a week at a nudist resort in upstate New York. Very funny and very insightful. It goes along with what Art was saying above; this is not a sexual thing for serious nudists.

Wish i was on it, sounds like a lot of fun, gives a whole new meaning to the term "friendly skies".

That would suck if all 87 of them were trying to take their clothes off at the same time, there's not shit for room on most airplanes.

well... on the bright side, you know that no-one is carrying concealed weapons :D

I like the courage the nudists have. I also wouldn't mind being on a plane like that as long as there weren't too many ugly people.

The next natural step is Mile High flights... Air Hedonism...

Once you made the step and try being a nudist you realize that those people around you who are nude too are going to be less critical of you than people in everyday life. I mean if they were to laugh at some scar or something you've got or even a hard on there is plenty of their body exposed that you could criticise. Once you see so many people naked at once you realize how different everyone's body is. There really isn't any comparison between one body and another. Each body is it's own work of art. I'm a woman and if I were on the flight and saw a guy get a boner I'd probably just admire it and think nothing critical. It's an exciting experience and so liberating. After trying it I tended to think of people - body types and all so differently. Much less critical. I was less critical of my own body too because I felt accepted as it was. I'm proud of my scars now - they show what I've been through and survived.

Nudists never go anywhere without their own towel to sit on.

I think its cool, but personally I can wait until I get to the beach. I don't need to be nude on the plane.
