DIY t-shirts
So anyone know any good "make your own t-shirt" companies?
I like t-shirts. And I have a bunch of ideas for ones of my own. Shit, I'm sure some people would even buy them! But all I want, in the short term, is to make a few for myself. I had a cursory look on the internet, but couldn't find anything that jumped out at me. Most of them simply allow you to submit some text. I want to include images in a few, and also ensure that the printing is of a high enough quality (not that plastic shit that peels off after the first wash). Any suggestions? Mr "the t-shirt man" Mephisto PS - Maybe I should setup my own online company! |

Best self t-shirt creation website I've seen. I've personally never used it, but my friends have. Price is decent, quality is decent, not sure what they use for getting the images on the shirts, but they seem to be doing pretty well. What shirt plans do you have. I know it's lame, but I can tell if I'm in a liberal or conservative town/city if I walk down the main street with my local store t-shirt made "I Fuck On The First Date" shirt. Get everything from looks of disgust and turning heads, to people pointing and laughing, and wanting to shake my hand. I've stopped wearing it after bumping into a prostitute with that shirt on (similar to my experience with gypsies in South America, she followed me to my car, and then tried to get in!!!). |

It's wierd. I just occasionally get these ideas for something. It's like "Hey, that would make a great t-shirt."
Here are some example phrases I think would be cool/funny. "Be like the boy" (10 marks if you get the reference) "Girls suck" - a bit risque for me, but amusing nevertheless. Alternatively, it could be "Good girls suck" or "Bad girls suck", or even "Naughty girls suck". I think they're all funny. "Under these clothes I'm naked" - that just makes me laugh "Public enema" or "Public enema number 1" Some image type t-shirts... A girl's t-shirt with a PacMan image going left to righ and the last dot right where a nipple would be. My wife thinks this is funny. A large Space Invaders sprite A silouette of a tree in autumn (lots of branches) A girl's t-shirt that has a picture of a baby on it, with the caption "I share mine with someone who smokes Marborough" These are just some ideas off the top of my head. Mr Mephisto PS - thanks for the link. Looks just like what I want. |

CafePress look great, but they only do white or grey t-shirts.
I'm sure I saw somewhere online that offered many different colours. Mr Mephisto [EDIT] www.artapart.com seems to be worth investigating. [/EDIT] Last edited by Mephisto2; 03-29-2004 at 05:54 PM.. |

We speak the same language Mephisto. I've yet to try making one or having one made yet, though.
