Having just read one of the most adult conversations about one of the most inflammatory discussions that I've ever encountered I now have to chip it my two bits. Thank you moderators and TFP's alike for fostering such a diversified, in-depth, and most of all mature community! Every day is something new and IMHO something better from everybody. A heartfelt thank you and I'm on my way.

No Where Else....Literally, nowhere. Will you find a better group of members than on these forums.
You guys can pat the Mods on the back all you want....we actually enjoy it. But, It is the ability of yourselves to create this place on a daily basis.....that really makes TFP cool. Pat your freakin' selves on the back....cause We do.

I like the sense of community. Nearly everybody I've "met" here is very open-minded and honest. Fabulous change from the other sites I was frequenting. The moderators are super diligent too.
/applause

Although still a rookie here, I just cannot go long without visiting the forum. With a wide variety of people, you still manage to have a conversation about controversial topics in the most mature manner. I have learned so much in my short time here, seen many different points of view, and had some good laughs as well. You have created an environment that makes me want to keep coming back for more, and maybe eventually breaking out of my shell and posting more often. I truly love coming here! Thank you for the warm welcome and making me feel at home.

I've become slightly addicted to TFP. I've been here for just over a month I think, but this is my favorite place online.
I think of it this way: The forum is like the ideal friend. You always have something interesting to say to me, but you listen if I want to talk too. You have the best advice, and a great sense of humor. Even if we disagree, you're respectful. And on top of all of this, you let me see you naked. If only more countries were ran like TFP...

why do I like it here? aside from all of the above stated reasons?
As a mod, most of the time I can sit back and let the good members keep things headed in the right direction. Sometimes a gentle nudge is all that's required; it's less and less common to have to bring the hammer down on people unless they do something stupid like spamming or flaming. This board hosts some of the most mature conversations I've seen on the net outside of academia, for that I applaud all of you.
