I would also recommend Structure (express for men). They make really great jeans for a reasonable amount, and I know they carry a 'tall' size, so that should fit you well.

beats me.. I have a 32 length and a 29 waist... just FINDING jeans that fit me is tough enough.. then to find brand names? HAH!... thats funny.
Hehe, even that link didn't have my size. You'd say, "just go 32x30, just stretch it a little".. and my response.. I already am.. I'm a skinny little fucker... except now I'm tall too.. hehe

Have you considered Land's End custom work? Only $54, and you pick from 10 colors, 2 fits, 3 rises, 2 pockets, 2 leg tapers, waist in 1/2 inch intervals, inseam in 1/4 inch intervals. My wife is considering this, anyone have experience with the quality?

The answer is, "don't wear jeans"
I hate jeans. I always get myself the cargo pants made out of the really different feeling material. It feels kinda water proof (but isn't) and they're really sturdy. Besides, I always use the pockets.

If they have them where you are - shop at urban outfitters. Pants are usually $54 and fit great. They sell great vintage-esque clothing and they also have a great housewares section. Shop online at urbanoutfitters.com
However you'll probably have to spend a bit more if you want great pants. DKNY are by far the best pants with great cuts and lengths - just a bit more expensive. There's also Diesel, Armani Exchange, and Aeropostale. All have great clothes but the latter is the cheapest.

I've always had the same problem as the original poster... I'm a thin and tall type of guy, and I much prefer more "fitted" jeans than looser/baggier. American Eagle is pretty good, but I think I'll check into Express next... Hopefully someday I will find the World's Greatest Fitting Pair of Jeans!

I used to have trouble finding jeans in my size but then I grew some more out of nowhere and now I don't have any problems. Now shirts, is a different story. It's hard to find good shirts!

I got a nice pair of jeans from Target recently for about 20 bucks, physical science I think the brand is. They feel nice, fit well.

I'm a girl and I have really long legs. The only jeans that I can ever find to fit me are good old Levi's...pick your waist, pick your length. They're also relatively tight and not expensive.

Carhartt seem to work for me.
Some styles of Levis fit rather well, but I quit buying them when Levi Strauss & Co decided to quit selling their jeans in truckstops because they wanted more 'upscale' clientele.

I'm going to have to vote American Eagle as well. It's about the only place I get jeans anymore, they last long, look good and are nice and comfy. I've got a friend who buys AE jeans to sleep in...but he's a little crazy.

I guess it doesn't help you out Deadmemory because I don't think we're looking for the same pants but I get my jeans at Sam's for $12-$13. All I'm looking for is basic and they last me 2-3 years so it works for me. I can't imagine spending $50 on a pair of blue jeans. They are just not that important to me.
