Karaoke proves deadly

A VIETNAMESE man was killed while singing karaoke when he was electrocuted by his microphone, police said.

Tran Quoc Du, a 23-year-old taekwondo teacher in the southern province of Binh Thuan, died on the spot yesterday when his karaoke microphone short-circuited while he was singing in his home.

"His family called an ambulance, but it was too late, he died immediately," a local policeman said.

They use 220.... which explains how he could get shocked dead by a microphone..... here in the U.S.A. we use 110, All you would get is a nasty zap... unless you had a heart condition.

That is interesting. I was just singing Karaoke last week with my Friends.

Maybe I will think twice about doing it again.

karaoke seems to be VERY popular in Asian countries ..

i think it's quite fun ..

now theres a chance you can die when you're really drunk and screaming some loud eighties rock song at your mates and the entire pub.
cool.
but not cool about the guy dying.
thats not cool.
