Karaoke proves deadly

A VIETNAMESE man was killed while singing karaoke when he was electrocuted by his microphone, police said.

Tran Quoc Du, a 23-year-old taekwondo teacher in the southern province of Binh Thuan, died on the spot yesterday when his karaoke microphone short-circuited while he was singing in his home.

"His family called an ambulance, but it was too late, he died immediately," a local policeman said.

Just gotta wonder what kinda karma was catching up with him for THAT to happen.

That is interesting. I was just singing Karaoke last week with my Friends.

Maybe I will think twice about doing it again.

that's something to hope for the next time you hear some horrible singin.. heh heh...

karaoke seems to be VERY popular in Asian countries ..

i think it's quite fun ..

i think it adds to the excitement!
now theres a chance you can die when you're really drunk and screaming some loud eighties rock song at your mates and the entire pub.
cool.
but not cool about the guy dying.
