Is Chest hair attractive?

On a guy of course;)

teriaki 02-11-2004 03:24 PM

Depends on the guy.

My preference was always no, then I met my husband, and the first time he took off his shirt, I was like "OH DAMN, HE HAS ON A FUR COAT!!".

I wouldn't have him any other way.

There is something inherently masculine about body hair- chest hair in particular.

Yalaynia 02-11-2004 04:17 PM

I myself find the less chest hair the better. I do not find men with hair sticking up over their shirt collars attractive.
I have seen a lot of infomercials on tv for different hair remover products that are aimed towards men. They do before and after shots. Some of the men for all intence purposes look like warewolves and others have very little. The men that have little to no chest hair and have it removed dont look to much different. The men that have had a lot of hair removed changed emensely, and the physical appearance afterwards was more defind.

Depends on how much, a little is ok, but not when it starts to crawl over the shoulders and onto the back.......(((((shudders))))) blah!

tfin 02-11-2004 04:47 PM

My x likes my chest hair. But after my recent surgeries I am rather bald in the chest area. Although it is growing back in. She has commented that she is waiting for it to come back to normal. It also sucks to have a shaved chest when you don't want one. I compare it to a woman being shaved down there if she liked her hair and so did her partner.

mew 02-11-2004 05:10 PM

I just dont like it. I find it quite unattractive, a little is...not as bad, but with a lot, it just turns me off.

meembo 02-11-2004 05:12 PM

(dude watches not knowing what to say)

ask my wife

raeanna74 02-11-2004 05:36 PM

I love it on hubby. When I first met him he had a collared shirt open at the top and I could see just a couple curls peaking out. Mmmmm I loved that. I've always told him so too.

I agree entirely. I've never dated a guy with a hairy chest, and I don't ever plan on it, because I don't think that I could stand it for long at all. It's just yucky! Imagine trying to kiss his chest n' stuff....aahh....NO!!!

taliendo 02-11-2004 09:15 PM

I voted yes, but then again, I'm a hairy motherfucker. I have chest hair, back hair, two months growth on my head and beard - did I mention that I'm also balding and I have a severe receding hair line? I just tell people that one day the hair on my head got sick and tired of religious scrutiny and paying all their taxes and decided to migrate to a new land.

I like my hair.

Mr.Deflok 02-12-2004 01:42 AM

I think it's disgusting, and I've got a hairy chest, not too hairy but I hate it.

I might remind you this shit occurs naturally... It's not like we stink of body odour or dress like retards. I personally am not prepared to remove the vast amount of hair on my body, because it's a commitment I'm not prepared to make. I would be dealing with hair every fucking day of my life. And for what?

ladyadmin 02-12-2004 06:58 AM

It all depends on who it's attached to. My current has a hairy chest and it's very sexy; the furline heading down his belly button is also sexy, yum!

Xiangsu 02-12-2004 07:13 AM

I just hate the idea of having to shave constantly to please people. It's one thing to have to shave your face, legs or pits if your a girl, but your chest, stomach, back, etc. It's just not fair. I think part of it is the way the media portrays the way a man should be. Not too many Abecrombie and Fitch models with a hairy chest.

Meh.

Chest hair isn't my thing... Then again I'm not into men, and women tend to not have much of it, if any that's visible. Peach fuzz is another thing entirely, that I like.

I don't have much chest hair, just a little bit and that's the way I prefer it, as well.

water_boy1999 02-12-2004 02:14 PM

I had a girlfriend, for a short period of time, that had a few nipple hairs. I just couldn't get past the hairs....grossed me out a bit. I have light hair hair on my chest but have been known to shave it off during the summer months.

My first g/f whose jubblies I saw way back when had the same problem. At the time I didn't know any better so I had convinced myself that they all did. But I found myself wondering. Once the relationship went sour (NOT because of that, mind you) and I found another I found this wasn't the case at all. Thinking back it wasn't very attractive.

gabshu 02-12-2004 05:16 PM

I don't like chest hair. I don't like hair anywhere for that matter. I like guys who wax their whola bodies, buuuuttt, since there aren't that many straight men who do that, I will forgive the hair on the body.

MSD 02-12-2004 06:31 PM

I have a total of less than 20 visible chest hairs. I like it this way.

World's King 02-12-2004 06:39 PM

I fuckin' hope it is... I'm a pretty hairy mother fucker.

krwlz 02-12-2004 08:02 PM

Im not thaaat hairy, but I got some. ANd hell no am I going to deal with it daily.

I hate shaving my face everyday, and you want me to do what?

Mr.Deflok 02-12-2004 09:55 PM

So women are ok with a man who shaves their whole body? Wouldn't it seem, I don't know, odd?

xjumper84 02-12-2004 09:59 PM

i wouldn't know.. i don't have any chest hair.. and yes.. i'm white

I used to feel the same way, but then ubertuber gave me Hairy White Man Fever. (joke) But seriously though, I traded in chest-kissing for reduced skin-on-skin friction and found that it definitely has its appeals - it's not _that_ great kissing men's chests in the first place and sex can be much better without the surprise indian burns on my chest and stomach.

moonstrucksoul 02-13-2004 09:50 AM

ther was a time when a 'hairy' everything was sexy

^^^I am thankful to have a husband who hardly has any. I can kiss his chest w/o getting hairballs......

Holo 02-13-2004 04:00 PM

It can be sexy if you don't subscribe to societal ideals of attractiveness exclusively. I'm half Greek and have the hair to prove it. I have severely trimmed my chest and pubes a couple times and my gf objects in her own words saying she's not a pedo, she expects a man to have some hair. I just keep it neat down there and let the rest grow.

Think about it, according to the media, women do have to shave their legs just to wear shorts/skirts/dresses and forget about the hairpits, cause those cant be seen at all. Not to mention all the guys who have to have or enjoy having a womans pussy bald or trim. Ever heard of waxing/shaving your most sensitive area? Sheer pain or nasty cuts..owie.
Guys just have to shave their beard (If they Want to), and your done. I think those of you who forget what women go through, are getting a little spoiled and I think it, entirely fair.
Though, I shouldnt neglect to mention some guys do trim themselves around their crotch area and there are many who shave/wax their chests too.
