Honestly, where are the parents? Yes it's partly the kids fault, but parents need to be watching the kids to prevent them from becoming the scum of society. It's situations like this, which make me thankful my parents always knew what I was doing and where I was going. I may have hated it, but it kept me inline. Thanks mom and dad for doing your job!

This is, in my opinion, the start of the downward spiral. This is the start of latchkey kids being raised by television and media. Parents aren't home (or are burned out from work) to offer guidance and moral teaching to these children and as such they grow up lacking. This has led to television, and in recent years, computer adiction. This has led to parents not knowing what their children are doing. This has led to a lack of respect. This has led to blissful ignorance on the part of the parent. Is it going to stop? Not a chance. Parents will have to find another 8 hours in the day for this to stop.

it's the parents. it has to be. when your kid thinks like this, they should be in a psych ward, not in school. only the parents control that. it's their fault and i don't see any way around it.
the kid doesn't deserve jail for life. jail for life is a pretty sick thing for anyone short of a mass murderer if you ask me. you only get one shot at life and squandering it away in a jail cell is a pretty sad way to live. i think the kid needs counseling. lots. if that fails, then i don't know what. you certainly don't put the kid back in school or anything. what should happen is she gets put in therapy so she has at least a shot at life, and the parents are made to realize that they fucked up, and have to live with that realization. EDIT: And as teriaki said, the girl might be twisted. but, as teriaki didn't say, it's her parents' job to realize that and make sure that she's not put in a place where she can cause trouble like this.
