I just read a few articles, very nice for a launch "issue". How often is it going to be updated?

Pat Robertson told me that God told him that Tilted Magazine was going to be a hit. He'd be a moron to think otherwise.
Those are some damn fine articles. I don't think you'd find a better group of contributors if you searched the world over a thousand times.

King, Always said I wanted to read what you wrote.. and there I go.. Instantly go the article I've been waiting to read. You, Sir, have Talent. Its doesn't have that professional feel. That is what makes it good. Instead of sounding like some scientifical badass, you come off as a person with something on their mind. It make us interested... and almost personal, not in an offensive way, but in the sense that we know precisely what you're talking about even though we're not sure what you're going to say next. Every line is a cliffhanger, even when we can predict what you're going to say. Personaly, (see? what'd I tell ya)this goes beyond good writing; I'm not sure if there even is a word that describes its excellence. Sure thats a good word, but doesn it fit? I don't think so. Either way, I'm thoroughly impessed.

So I will look again tonight when I am home.

I haven't had much time to go through it all, but what I've seen looks great. I'll comment in more depth once I get home where I can really read the articles.
Great job all. Thanks for you hard work.

Still fighting it.

can I just say, I'm very impressed with the final result, but I'm a little bit saddenned to see exactly the same faces writing on there that you see all the time on here.
I put myself forward for the project and got knocked back in no uncertain terms. If I were a less charitable man, the word 'clique' might be creeping into my mind somewhere. Still, nice job, it's turned out really well. I'll link it on my blog next time I update. |

well, flamingdog, where else do you suppose we the the writers of the first issue of Tilted Magazine?
We've all ready enlisted some outside help as a result of the warm reception the mag has all ready received... things will continue to evolve.

Flaming dog,
I would not say it is a qlique at all of writers. I'm writing for the paper and I am a pretty much quiet unknown boarder reader and writer. I think It really has to do with if they think that at this point and time that you would be able to give a reall contribution. You will notice a lot of the writers are people who post a lot on the lit boards. You might want to share more of your writing with us there. I'm hoping the mag will be around a long time, just because you are not writing now for it does not mean that you can't in the future. Unless of course you get really angry and whine about it.

Looks good, I'm going to have to read a bit before I have an opinion, but I liked what I saw in the few minutes I was there.
