As You All Must Know By Now...

...i live in maine and now it's so cold...

that i saw a dog going down the street stuck to a hub cap

that even the flakes are turning to snow

that at the local strip joint the girls are just describing themselves

so where are ya and how chilly was your willy?

ARTelevision 01-15-2004 01:46 PM

Yeah, colder'n a mother-in-law's kiss down here...

TheBrit 01-15-2004 01:47 PM

Britain, and maybe a touch of frost on the car in the morning. Really not cold at all.

viejo gringo 01-15-2004 01:52 PM

Ya' all come on down to deep south TEXAS---

It is now 78 degrees and cloudy---doors and and windows are open and I am setting here in shorts---sucking on a scotch and water---and waiting for my good friend from Montana to arrive and cook a few fine T-bones---life is good....:D

PS--my willy is fine,,thank you

Halx 01-15-2004 01:52 PM

Same here but I'm wearing shorts too. It's about 75F in w.central Florida.

synic213 01-15-2004 02:00 PM

I heard Al Gore was giving his speech on global warming today, in Chicago, where they are experiencing the coldest day they've had in 10 years!

Still t-shirt and jeans weather in San Diego.

There's almost 6" of snow, and it's a frosty 7 degrees F. The lows are gonna be in the negatives over night.

Global warming my ass!

me too!!! Santa Monica is nice this time of year :)

arch13 01-15-2004 02:07 PM

That's it, i want to go home to Miami.
I'm sick of this Providence/Boston cold snap. The locals telll me it's a tad colder than before. At a -25 wind chill last night, it better damn well be called cold.
I'm told that it's no colder than the year before i cam to college four years ago, but at that rate it just proves that the piligrims where self punishing to stay here!

Psivage 01-15-2004 02:23 PM

it was cold here couple of days ago, now the weather is better.

MrFlux 01-15-2004 02:24 PM

It's summer. My fan is going and my windows are open.

Soon, I shall venture out into the sun and be fried to a crisp thanks to the lack of ozone down in this part of the world.

Seriously, I got burnt while wearing SPF 30 sunblock. The army-issue sunblock here is SPF 75, and really, that's what is needed. I remember SPF 15 doing the job not 10 years ago... sigh.

brandon11983 01-15-2004 02:36 PM

I live in the midwest, so the weather seems to change its mind on a daily basis. I wore a t shirt a few days ago, now its like 10* F.

clavus 01-15-2004 02:45 PM

Colder than a well-digger's ass
Colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra
Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey.

OK, not really. It's cool and a little rainy. Nice really.

gilada 01-15-2004 02:45 PM

... it's time to go home....

soccerchamp76 01-15-2004 02:51 PM

Gotta love St. Louis weather....70 degrees one day and then down to 8 degrees over the next 3 days.

Who knows what it could be tomorrow, our meteorlogists probably just guess what the temperature will be the next day.

sailor 01-15-2004 02:54 PM

Gotta hate the central NC weather... It gets *just* to the freezing point, and then rains. Miserable weather. I would rather have the cold than this shite.

Frankly my friend, you heard wrong. It was like 30 in Chicago, which is far from even the coldest day this season, let alone in 10 years. I have no idea if gore is around, and truly I don't care much for him anyway.

LStanley 01-15-2004 03:19 PM

it was about 36 this morning and raining... its still drizzling... bout 57-60 outside now... its posed to get cold tonight though... mid twenties... maybe lower here in Lubbock

Texas has such fluxuating temps... its like 85 in Houston today too

dogzilla 01-15-2004 03:45 PM

Zero degrees here in New York the past couple mornings. It's supposed to warm up to something like 20 on Saturday. This is the coldest it has been here in years.

Nazggul 01-15-2004 03:57 PM

Partly cloudy in the 60's in SF today. Not wearin a T-Shirt but no jacket. =)

Actually, he was in NY, not Chicago, where he cried about global warming in near record low temps.... http://www.boomspeed.com/sixate/icon_rolleyes.gif

theguyondacouch 01-15-2004 04:27 PM

in northern ri, it like 0 with a windchill of -30 or something. Infact, most of the public schools are cancelled cause of it.

rockzilla 01-15-2004 05:02 PM

It's -45 Celcius with the windchill right now. I think that's about -50 F. It's supposed to go up to a balmy -15 C (5 F) tomorrow.

Time to hit the beach!

MSD 01-15-2004 05:03 PM

Public schools have already been caneclled for tomorrow due to wind chill

SVT01Cobra 01-15-2004 05:05 PM

Warm today in Kansas City, Missouri.
I wore a T-shirt, supposed to be cold tomorrow though...

Yep. Today it was chilly by Durham standards--in the mid 40's.

God of Thunder 01-15-2004 06:03 PM

I have one of those indoor/outdoor thermometers, the outside temp reads at 2.8 degrees.

I went out to snowblow the driveway today and my mustache froze. That was about 8 hours ago and my body still hasn't warmed up yet.

brrrrr!!!!!!!

Can I come stay with you for a couple months until it warms up here?

Vespertine 01-15-2004 06:11 PM

South Florida's such a nice yet shitty place to live. ;)

T-shirts and shorts all year long.

eribrav 01-15-2004 06:30 PM

I also have one of those indoor/outdoor thermometers, live on a hill in upstate NY.

I found out 3 days ago that my thermometer can only read down to -22F air temperature. You can watch it going down to -21.6..........-21.8...........then it goes blank. Later when the sun comes up it will "wake" at -21.8 again.
Right now it's not even 2200 hours and we're at -16F.

houston personally. 60s today, rainy and gloomy

my willie is cold and lonely, but i guess i should stop trying to stick it in the icebox :D

Cujo 01-15-2004 06:41 PM

It was officially colder than Hell today here in Southern Ontario.

Hell Michigan -1 F

Brantford Ontario -8 F

I washed the salt off my car around 4 this afternoon and when I pulled out of the carwash I had to let it sit for 10 minutes so the ice build up on the windows could melt away. Fuck its cold. I hate this weather.

merkerguitars 01-15-2004 08:53 PM

Heater core broke yesterday.... 20F out here...so driving home get it fixed at a 60mph windchill...not fun

legolas 01-15-2004 09:28 PM

I'm in CT and we're having the coldest day in 20 years here. My toes are ice even with the heat on.

Oh wait, I got one. It's so cold here that polar bears are coming in to warm up.
It's so cold here that we've opened up our refridgerator to help heat up the house.

grumpyolddude 01-15-2004 09:42 PM

"Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey."
Hell, we're using brass monkey balls for hand-warmers!

Cold here too. Time to hibernate.

onodrim 01-15-2004 10:08 PM

Its really cold here in Central Illinois where I'm at school right now. However, I called my dad today back home near Chicago, and he was out for a walk! Apparently the weather back home must not be too bad!

oberon 01-15-2004 10:15 PM

Bah! It's a balmy 25F here. Can't wait for it to get below zero and see some pretty snow on the ground again!

-- oberon, who LIKES snow and cold weather, thank you very much! ;)

on top of the 5 inches of snow, there's about an inch of snow.. (every where but the streets as they've been thoroughly salted). Its awfully odd when you can walk across a yard of snow, and leave no tracks what-so-ever.

kulrblind 01-16-2004 04:54 AM

Candide 01-16-2004 07:49 AM

In Calgary, it is warm enough that I went out on my motorcycle at 2100hrs yesterday. Gonna ride my bicycle this afternoon. Oh, yeah, we might have the rednecks, but we've also got oil money and chinooks!

InTeGrA77 01-16-2004 08:21 AM

its not TOO awful cold here, but they have -100 degree wind chills in the northeast...so I guess that that means that I can't really complain!

moonstrucksoul 01-16-2004 11:04 AM

not too shabby here, mild wind 38 degrees by the outside thermometer, your usual south Puget Sound kind of day. we already had our once a year snow. sorry if your balls are feeling like ice cubes.

amonkie 01-16-2004 11:13 AM

Nice and breezy in Az, we've had a string of 78*F days, but you could drive north for two hours and play in the snow!! :)

TheClarkster 01-16-2004 05:22 PM

Thank god for southern California. I have no idea what the temperature is, but I haven't been wearing a shirt all day and I'm feelin fine.

Fremen 01-16-2004 06:21 PM

It's pretty warm for E. Texas at this time of year.
It's supposed to rain this weekend with the lows in the high 30's-low 40's.

I feel bad for the Park Ranger hiker that died Wednesday in New Hampshire.
Even with all of his experience and cold weather gear, it wasn't enough to protect him, what with the extreme cold temperatures out there this Winter.
http://www.thechamplainchannel.com/w...19/detail.html

Be safe, folks.
