Asian women walking?
This is just a point of curiosity, but I have noticed that many Asian and American women of Asian descent (particularly Korean)
have a tendency to shuffle their feet when walking (rather than heel-toe it's heel-scuff. Am I the only one to notice this? A few women in my office do this and they are all Americans with Korean born parents. I can hear them coming a mile away, even when wearing flats or sneakers. Anyone know what gives? I sure can't explain why white folks walk ramrod straight, so there may not be a real answer to this. |

I see this often, but not just asian chicks. Some girl walking down the mall haunched over crossed arms shuffling her feet. They're either extremely tired, or pissed off at something.

Its kind of a cultural thing. Relax, we're not out to kill you with static electricity.
Back in olden days, men did all the manual labor, women stayed in the house and did their work there. Women were expected to be servile and be second to men. This meant showing how submissive they are by shuffling their feet. Only strong and proud men took great strides. This just jumped into the peoples unconsciousness. Now people just do it out of habit.

I was in China last month and did a river cruise on the Yangtze. For entertainment one night, some of the crew did a show where they demonstrated some traditional costumes and some traditional dances. In some of these costumes they did the exact opposite of shuffling their feet, but instead took very exaggerated steps in which they really rocked their hips. I think this may be largely cultural.

I am chinese and through out my years in china, i rarely seen chinese women walk that way. (which means its not cultural)
Howevery, if u try to identify this phenomeno on a larger skill, you will notice that over weight people are more likely to shuffle their feet than normal. This is largely due to their center of mass being more to the front than normal, which leads to the lesser movement of feet than normal in order to maintain balance Coming back to your topic some asian women are likely to do so since of their difference in skelital arrangement from cocasions which could increase to probility of asian women to shuffle their feet. BTW, theriotically, large breasted woman are more very likely to shuffle their feet.

My last girlie was Asian, and she had a walk that could stop traffic! Everywhere she went, I don't think even one head didn't turn to see the way she moved her hips and ass. Even women would stare!

I used to work with a pretty little, petite vietmanese(sp?) waitress with a nice ass - that would shake her ass like she a model walking on the catwalk. I would always tell her, "Baby, I hate to see you leave, but I love to watch you go!"... never did get any although I came close once ah, the memories
