Seriously, let's form a hitsquad for flame and trolls. When we detect it, we PM the poster and tell him to cool off and edit the post. Maybe we could have anger management classes for flamers and trolls too. :)

Sign me up! Is there any way we could get a charter or something going? :)

your thoughts are sweet, but there's a better way. each and every post has a "report this post to a moderator" link, let the staff know what's going on and we'll drop the love on the offending parties. it's what we do.

People who post stuff that's intended to get insulting replies thrown back at them. Look at the politics board, search for "troll" and you'll find a few good examples.

If we see someone flaming someone unfairly, the AFM (Anti-Flaming Militia) will simply go around to the offending parties house, have a calm discussion over a cup of tea, then RAPE THEM!

I was going to post some sort of crude joke adding on to Mr. Deflok's post, but I'm an idiot and forgot. On a different note though, now that I think of it, I can't recall ever seeing a true flame on this board. Is it an uncommon thing, or am I just missing these posts?

The mods knock out most of them. I got seared a few days ago and the incident (sp?) prompted me to start this thread.

Perhaps the AFM could scoure the net finding anyone with issues and help them out, or even if we get the word out, those who have been attacked can seek out our assistance

Oh geez, that would be a HUUUUGE job. Flames on other forums are all over the place. We'd probably go crazy. With that being said, count me in!

Would we be missionaries or mercenaries if we went "out to the people" and rounded up the infidels?
