Subway Atkins Wrap Sucks

I just wanted everyone to know how to Subway Atkins Wrap is a rip-off. This thing is SMALLER than a 79 cent Taco Bell burrito, ways less than said burrito, but costs $4.89.

COMPLETE, TOTAL, WASTE OF MONEY. THERE ARE NO INGREDIENTS IN THIS THING TO WARRANT THE COST.

Screw Subway!

That is all.

well when you are poor, you'll have less money for food. Maybe that's the diet plan subway has for everyone

Hail Citizens!

My Taco Bell burritos cost .89 American dollars.
This is an injustice that I did not know I suffered until now.
I am off to write my congressman. I will not fail to mention the paucity of the Subway Atkins Wrap, EleqTrizi'T.

Subway everything sucks. I thought they used to be really good. Did they go downhill, or have my tastes improved? I'd like to know how they can put so much stuff on a sub, yet make it taste so bland.

I live off of Subway on the weekends. The dining halls on my campus are all either closed or running on *much* reduced hours, so you dont really have much choice--and since Subway is the only other food place on this part of the campus, you tend to eat it a lot. Its ok, but you do get mighty sick of it.

Ever since I chomped down on what appeared to be a detached fingernail or a small piece of plastic that somehow found its way to the very center of my subway sandwich (ruining the whole thing, so sad...) I have tried to avoid that place.

i havent tried one yet iam not sure if they have hit my Subway or not, but the quality of subways all depends on the location. There are about 10 in my area and about 3 of them are good. Just have to find a good one if you have the choice between different locales... i want to try a wrap though, i was hopin for something new

Subway's been going downhill since they replaced the U-gouge with the sloppier C-cut. The wrap is just the latest in bad cold-cut serving concepts.

As discussed here.

I rmemeber the U cut when I worked there in '90..it did make the sandwich more appealing but was harder to learn to do right than a C cut. If you were being half assed you could rip the bread easier with the old cut. Plus they might've done that becuase of the propensity of the toppings to fall out easier since they aren't tucked into the roll like they are in the pocket of a C cut.

As far as Atkins ic concerned, it's just more shitty marketing to make ppl think they're eating healthier. I mean Subway is healthier than most fast food anyway if you're careful...there's no need for an Atkins Sandwich. Atkins is a fad diet to me anyway...it's not healthy as most diets aren't, but it's more important to be skinny than healthy.

Atkins works if you follow it.

Taco Bell is great for an Atkins diet. Taco meat, lettuce, tomatos, cheese... just ditch the shells. I think their hot sauce is the worlds nastiest though.

That's the whole point.
You are paying for a lunch, and instead getting half of one. That's why it has less calories.

Their Hot Sauce rules!!! They need to get something hotter though.

I started to go to Subway when they came out with the Pizziola Subs. Those kick serious ass.

Pfft, I got one, and it was great. When I'm not paying for it, I'm sure it won't be so good, but I have the chicken, bacon and ranch one and it was one of the best wraps I've ever had.

I thought the wrap was pretty good, but it was a tad small. Quizno's is'nt bad but their steak sauce for their steak and cheese bites. Down here we have Jersey Mike's. Now that is a sub!

I tried the Turkey Bacon wrap today for the first time. I'm not on the Atkins diet, but it was something different from their usual menu. It was okay, not great, not terrible, just okay. I will try the other one then decide if I would ever but one again.

It has the word 'Atkins' in it, of course it's going to be expensive. If a corporation is trying to get in on a trend do you think you're going to get your money's worth?

Which reminds me, I've been meaning to find out how much more low-carb beer costs compared to real beer.

I can help you out there. Mich Ultra 18.99 a case around here. About the same as any semi-premium beer. Not too bad taste wise compared to any other watery lite beer.

Add about Five pounds and probably at least 5 Inches to the height and I'm in the same boat. (of course if I'm soaking wet, I assume I just got back IN the boat....) This has got to be my first glance at the thing. Screw this, I'll just go to Wal-Mart and buy a pound of BBQ Popcorn Chicken for 4 bucks.

I used to hate it when then namby pamby women would come in and make a fuss over the u-gouge and make me find a piece of bread that wasn't precut (in the day when we could do that) to slice it down the middle. These were the same women that wanted the bread to be "oh so wonderfully soft" -- and would bring it back if the crust was even slightly flakey (LIKE THEM!) That really used to piss me off. Made me want to go soak the damn sandwich in a tray of water and give it back to them -- "HERE. ITS SOFTER NOW, BITCH!"

God! It was like serving Meg Ryan in "When Harry met Sally." I hate that.

Damn, I'm still aggressive towards that behavior. Wow! 5 years later! lol

Michelob Ultra has only.8 of a carb less than Miller Lite, totally not worth the higher price and the even more watered-down taste. Bourbon, on the other hand, has no carbs

It's astounding how much Atkins Co. charges for its low-carb bread and flour. A one-ounce bag of their Crunchers is something like $2 last I checked. The book is quite informative, but is also packed with recipes that require Atkins brand ingredients. Shameful. It doesn't surprise me that the wrap is expensive--Subway is probably paying them an arm and a leg for the ingredients. I lost over 20 lbs. on Atkins and kept it off pretty much by avoiding pasta, regularly-sweetend drinks, potato chips and crackers. I eat sandwiches made with real bread, I eat a little rice with my Asian food, and I haven't fallen off the weight wagon yet. For snacks, I eat sunflower seeds, roasted almonds, and the occasional beef jerky. No reason to pony up the dough for their officially approved, scientifically balanced products.
