New Years Resolutions
We all make them and very few of us keep them. You have the traditional ones....to quit smoking, to lose weight, to spend more time with the family, etc. But how often do we follow through? I know personally I don't think I've stuck with one yet!
I am going to try to set a realistic, yet needed, resolution for the upcoming new year this time. While I would like to see some major changes happen I'm going to set a small goal instead. Mine is to eat healthier. I have very poor eating habits such as skipping meals, and I would sincerely like to change that. So, share your New Years resolutions here, if you have one!

Ive found new years resolutions to be nothing more then the easy street for the weak minded.
If you really want to change something, really, honestly and truly, why must you wait until new years to change it? Change now! I havent set a new years resolution, and I never plan to. |

I resolve to spend as much time in the other forums as I do in Tilted Nonsense (and not just the Titty Board, when it comes back).

I agree with junglistic, why wait until New Years to start something new? If someone really wants to quit smoking or lose weight, start sooner rather than later because you're just putting it off, which may imply that you don't really (REALLY) want to do it anyway.
If you have the strength/will power to do something now, you're probably more likely to succeed at it than if you'd rather wait to start. |

I think my resolution will be to spend more time with my fiancee, sappy and crappy it is, but I can definately cut back on my 4 hours a night on the comp =p.
And I would do it right now, but we're not going back home from vacation to our parents until new years. =p |

I lost a lot of weight this last year and a half. But kind of slowed down in the last 3 months, I've decided to lose the last 2 inches. Also, I've decided to get out of Utah before next year (I'm thinking March-Arpil)
As far as waiting till new years to make a resolution, yes I agree, that if someone wants something they should start right away. But the new years resolution is used as a mental exercize, it lets people take stock, decide what they want out of life and then let them go for it. Who cares when or why they start as long as they start?

Well...?
1. Find myself a nice to girl to love and charish. Then fuck her friend after way too many shots of whiskey. 2. Ride my scooter as much as possible. Then try to not crash after way too many shots of whiskey. 3. Be gentle and kind to everyone that I come in cantact with. Then end up in a huge bar fight after way too many shots of whiskey. 4. Work on making the relationship stronger with me and my mother. Then slash her tires and break her windows after way too many shots of whiskey. 5. Don't drink whiskey.

I have a few things that I want to work on in the New Year.
I want to move out. I looked at 2 complexes today, loved one. Got the application and I will drop it off tomorrow. Hopefully I'm approved to move in, and if I will I will be moved out of my parents house by the middle of March. FINALLY! I also want to get in shape. Yeah, I know... everyone says that.
